The key is to simply PAY ATTENTION. Don't wait anything, don't expect anything, just pay attention without projecting anything. Just wait and listen carefully like something magical is going to happen righf after it (and it will).

This worked for me. But for some reason I feel like I have to focus on something to stop thinking. If I don’t have a phone or a person to speak to my brain thinks too much about silly things. This is why I try to stop worrying about when I am alone because that’s when I think the most.

Great video! What I do, and it works every single time, is when a thought begins I now automatically become aware (not thinking about it, just become aware) of my chest expanding and contracting as I unconsciously breathe in and out. It works everytime and snaps me right out of those useless thoughts. This can happen over and over many times even within minutes but the more you train yourself to become aware of the thought the more automatic it becomes and it is a spectacular feeling of nothingness. Great for falling asleep too. Just become aware. It's so easy you won't believe it!

For example me and my boy were talking about always being there for each other....and during my solo trips he is always there! If you notice "you" are not thinking, then thinking is very much there. The lesser self, the little "you" is a product of thought itself. No person possesses a finite mind. The entire so-called dream called humanity would be the mind. It is the experiencer and the experience. THAT WHICH IS, or NOW, (not the word) is not a thinker. YOU don't see NOW, NOW is what YOU be!

What becomes silent is the part of the mind interpreting what he is saying. That thought stream sort of stills. Indeed that is increased stillness. That is really enjoyable. Meanwhile a different channel of the mind is commenting on what you are experiencing (a.k.a thinking), which is increased stillness or maybe even "the thoughts are gone" or something similar. An even more increased awareness will reveal this.

Same ! But I do have some tips - sit in nature / garden - it has to be fairly quiet ( birdsounds are ok ) and sit for as long as you can . Don't try to not think - just notice your thoughts and imagine them as moving clouds that come and go - Focus on your breathing , make it calm - you will get bored ( then you're close to not thinking . Don't try too hard . Don't try at all ! 50% people have an inner dialogue and I'm so jealous of the ones who have nothing . So it sounds like you have an inner dialogue too . Hope any of this helps

No, between your words I was feeling agitated and wondering what you were going to say. My mind doesn't stop and I'm irritated by everything because I'm stressed

Well, the key is to slow down and only pay attention, don't wait for anything, don't expect anything, just pay attention like something magical is going to happen right after it!

You keep attention to the content Not the sound What we speak has No meaning You cant see that your not thinking really when someone uses a foreign language because you cant decode the words, thats the truth We're Made to pay attention, that creates the mind proscess. To get Out of it don't Focus in words Focus for a while on the sound of it Same is with texting, were decoding often words analytical but truly its all just signs. Signs are Letters that create the meaning in full context But when i write in Chinese you arent able to think a thought. So you focus at the signs without knowing The mind always tries to decode everything and know the meaning behind something When you stop thinking you Just notice whats going on so the Action Takes place Out of your body At all its difficult Not to think Its Like Not seeing or Not feeling The mind ist created to think So know how to think and whats the meaning behind thoughts Why are they there..

Being completely honest this didn’t help. I read the comments after too and tried it their way and it still didn’t work. The whole time you were talking with the gaps and the whole time you were talking in general I had about 15 different individual thoughts going at once. Almost like I had 15 people talking at once.
