The term “femcel” makes me chuckle, since “involuntarily celibate “ was a phrase already coined by a woman to describe her own life

PUAs stole it from women the same way men stole PUA from women. Women were the original seducers.

I remember back in the times when the best value of sex is through marriage, having children and starting a family building a strong foundation within your family, those where the days, now it's like it became a hobby to some people it became some form of a friends with benefits and the true meaning and value of sex became more and more less into downright degrading and fetishistic degeneracy..

Absolutely agree. First people used "virgin" as an insult (mostly against men), because god forbid someone is either waiting for marriage, is asexual, or just isn't focused on developing sexual relationships at this point in their lives. Nowadays people use incel and it's the same dumbass logic (especially when people still use virgin as an insult) . Like Christ, leave people alone and mind your own business.

"Incel" is pretty much just a way of avoiding being blatantly obvious with virginshaming/single-shaming and getting called out It's amazing that you can easily fool people with simple wordplay

But that makes no sense. "incel" just means involountary celibate. If any of the examples you have listed apply, they are volountary. This is also true for when "virgin" is used as an insult. "Is this supposed to be an insult?" Is my reaction. Why would this attempt of an insult work? It doesn't. "Incel" specifies that the person wants to lose their virginity or are otherwise focused on sex, especially when they call themselves at. They could just call themselves "legorich" meaning they play with legos instead of having sex, which is just as valid as the reverse would be. There is also nothing wrong with calling people out on their failings. It can have negative consequences, sure, but so can the reverse be where you "leave people alone", because turns out they don't like being left alone, but now they feel entitled to be treated as the little stars their parents made them look like. I suppose it's completely up to personal preference.

Incel has become more of a culture than a term to refer to an attribute. There are certain view points that are ingrained in incel culture and even people who wouldn't qualify as technically an incel hold those ideas. It's like calling anyone a n@z!. They don't exist anymore but there are people that hold tenants from their ideology.

putting others down to make themselves feel better has always been a human thing, no matter where we stand on the social hierarchy. Calling others out because they don't have a partner is the easiest way to make someone feel better about their own lack of accomplishments.

Dont you think pride month exacerbates the incel problem. The incel comes from people and society over emphasizing sex. Pride month turns sexual preference into a whole identity.

Femcel and incel don't refer to virginity, though. They're references to the types of people who used to frequent reddit's involuntary celibacy sub- angry, spiteful, socially stunted little bastards with no self awareness. Kind of like neckbeards/legbeards but with even less of a sense of humor.
