Supposedly it was announced in the blu ray thing that the first episode of season 4 was submitted and drafted back in april of 2022 and that dubbing started in june. That means that there's a chance that season 4 finished when season 3 started airing, so the first infinity castle movie is probably done or close to being done right now

My guess is that Ufotable are combining the Infinity Castle, Sunrise Countdown and the Epilogue arcs into the trilogy and that this will end the anime. I think that the films will include the following in each of them. First film: Film begins with the scattering of the Demon Slayers across the Infinity Castle/Zenitsu vs. Kaigaku/ Tomioka Giyu and Kamado Tanjiro vs Akaza Includes Akaza's back story, which will make you cry)/ Shinobu Kocho vs. Doma (Includes Doma's and Shinobu's back story)/Tsuyuri Kanao and Hashibira Inosuke vs Doma (And Inosuke's back story)/Film ends with Kanroji Mitsuri and Iguro Obanai finding Nakime and Tokito Muichiro encountering Kokushibo. Second film: Film begins Kanroji Mitsuri and Iguro Obanai vs Nakime (Includes back story for Iguro Obanai and possibly Nakime)/Tokito Muichiro, Himejima Giyomei, Shinazugawa Sanemi and Shinazugawa Genya vs Kokushibo (Includes back story for Himejima Giyomei, Shinazugawa Sanemi and Kokushibo)/ Film ends with the Demon slayers finding Kibutsuji Muzan. Third film: Film begins with the Demon Slayer Corps finding Kibutsuju Muzan/Collapse of the Infinity Castle/The Demon Slayer Corps vs Muzan/Muzan's death (Includes a number of back stories)/Demon Slayer Corps vs ??? (If you know, you know, but I'm not spoiling this)/Disbanding of the Demon Slayer Corps/Character epilogues/Life Shining Across the Years (This part of the epilogue will put a big smile on your face as certain characters are reborn or we see the descendants of the surviving Demon Slayers). This would certainly provide the best amount of action for each of films with the fights against the Upper Moon 2, Upper Moon 1 and Muzan himself proving the climactic battle for each of them respectively.

Demon Slayer movie trilogy confirmed. I made a comment on last weeks episode explaining the rest of the story and format for the remaining content. It contains spoilers for everything, and I've edited it now that we know we're having 3 movies. I originally said that the movies would be too short to make everything work, but I've adjusted for that. Spoilers below read at your risk 🫡⚠️⚠️⚠️ We don't know how long each movie will be. It doesn't seem likely that everything will fit into the runtime. I'm thinking though, the 3 movies will be more on the higher side like 10 hrs. Each movie being just about 3+ hrs, maybe a little less. SPOILERS BELOW ABOUT THE REST OF THE ENTIRE STORY and a lot of reading 💀💀 1. realistically Kaigaku's aka new UM 6 (Also the guy who let the demon into the house this ep) fight with our thunder boi would be 2-3 episode (about 45 mins to an hour).  2. Prior to that fight was UM 2 vs Shinobu. That fight would also be 2- 3 episode. They're both really short but I think the anime will expand on them.  EDIT: Fights #1 and #2 are reallly short. More like one episode each but knowing Ufotable, they can expand it to 2-3 episodes of content. 3. Then there's Akaza fight with Tanjiro and Giyu, which will be 5 or 6 ep (about 2 hrs).  4. Next is the full fight with UM 2 vs Inosuke and Kanao which will be about 4-5 ep (roughly an hour and 45 mins). Then there's the scuffle with Kanroji and Obanai vs new UM 4. At best that fight is 1 ep (20 mins) if not a little more past that before Yushiro takes over UM 4's mind later on.  5. Lastly UM 1 vs stone, wind, mist Hashira and Genya. That fight is the longest being 8 episodes worth of content (2 hr & 40 mins to 3 hrs). Then the continued scuffle with new UM 4 and everyone coming to the surface (about 50 mins). With that done that's the entire infinity castle arc leaving us on a cliffhanger for the final battle with muzan in the sunrise countdown arc.  So, with all that info fight #1, #2 and half of #3 will be adapted to the first movie. The second movie will finish fight #3 and fight #4. The 3rd movie will be fight #5. The final battle with Muzan is even longer than the UM 1 fight, which is about 10 or 11 episodes. That has to be 3 - 4 hrs to finish up everything and there are only 3 movies. So with that the sunrise countdown arc will be it's own movie or another season 🔥 EDIT: With the muzan fight, a large part of it is backstories for the remaining Hashira or expansion of other backstories (about an hour spread out the fight). However, with the fighting part of the last arc, they could shorten it down a bit and allude to the fact everyone was fighting for the past hour. So the muzan fight aka sunrise countdown arc & conclusion arc, would more likely be 2-3 hrs. Considering that we have 3 movies to work with, things are going to be dramatic and quick or drawn out a bit more, making each movie 3+ hrs like i said before. Also, since we were getting movies, i deleted a whole paragraph about the remaining content just being seasons. If you're wondering how I came to this conclusion and estimate of all the episodes, I just read the manga and scaled it to how much time each episode is. About 2 chapters = 1 episode. So, for example, fight #1 with Kaigaku vs Zenitsu is 3 chapters which are a small part of 143, 144, and half of 145. Technically it should be one episode but I feel like they can add enough scenes to it to be 2-3 episodes.
