Merlin name isnt in the demon language but it is not understood by short lived races. Cus u know, short lived races forget. They just don’t understand what shes saying.

You guys definitely need to season 3+4

A lot of people shit on this anime for the animation of season 3/4 but the storyline, character development, and world building is just too good. This anime would've been top tier if it had good animation and even then it's still one of the greats. Hopefully you guys can look past a few moments of poor animation in s3 especially.

the animation started going donwhill from s2 and the story is rly bad actualy,its basicaly plot twist the anime,its just bad if you take 2 seconds to think about it

Story didnt fall offas others said the animation got bad and less budget not as good fight seens but they adapted the mangas story line pretty well still so the story itself is worth watching it for

And with this I think they have now revealed every single sins' magic power. 1. Meliodas - Full Counter - Allows the countering of magic abilities, has various variation like Counter Vanish and Revenge Counter. 2. Diane - Creation - Allows Diane to essentially earth bend but also allows her to manipulate the composition of something including her own body, like turning herself into metal. Every giant shares this type of ability. 3. King - Disaster - Currently vaguely describe, but will be clarified in the future. Essentially, it has something to do with what a Disaster usually entails. It's a Fairy King exclusive type of power. 4. Ban - Snatch - Allows Ban to essentially "steal" stuff, including power, physical ability, stamina etc. It also allows him to "steal" objects making them go to his hands, it even includes things like organs or that squid thing from the human who drank demon blood. 5. Gowther - Invasion - Essentially allows the manipulation of both the mind(memories) and the soul. 6. Escanor - Sunshine - Currently can be describe as the power to rise in strength in proportion to the time of the day. He is at his peak strength at noon. It also comes with the ability to manipulate fire, specifically the sun's flame and heat. 7. Merlin - Infinity - An ability that allows Merlin to essentially imbue the concept of infinity to everything she wants. If she wants to live forever, she thought she can do it by just stopping the time for her body with a spell. But as the demon this episode said, that requires a lot of magic to both cast and maintain but because she has "infinity" she can just cast the time stopping spell and that spell will remain running forever. Same happens if she cast a tornado spell, if she doesn't actively cancel the spell, that tornado will continue to turn forever.

Its nit the entire conceot of infinity its just magic her magic doesnt rewuire anything to maintain its a spell making her not age not just wanting to not age

@@demonic_myst4503 Keyword, "essentially." Should already tell you that I'm trying to simplify it. Also no, her spell requires no maintenance or any fuel other than the magic that was used to cast them, precisely because of her infinity. If she didn't have infinity, she would be like any other mage that will need to maintain their spells by adding more magic to power it. So no, it's not that her spells inherently doesn't need maintenance. Its because of infinity that her spells doesn't need maintenance. Infinity makes it possible for her to not need to do maintenance on her spells. It's just a side effect of the application of infinity, the main effect is still the "making them run forever part."

The story of the other seasons are so good its just the animation gets a bit worse but you should defenitly watch it

Greirod saying that who ever kills next to him they pays with their life. Yet estarossa did kill Meliodas while Greirod was there. Shouldn't estarossa die when he did it ?

I do think about it a lot. He didn't do much in the fight after cursing Meliodas with the chains, so he was probably keeping his distance and that allowed Estarossa to kill him without consequence. Same with the commandment of love, the fight would not have been possible if Estarossa had been in it from the beginning.

@@maialajossefina.3261 maybe it's all about the range 🤔 I will have to see it once more because i'm almost sure that they were both of them standing pretty close to the fight . I don't think that they have a choice whether they active it or not . Or Galand would've been able to just desactivate it before running from escanor. The only choices are, range or a contradiction.

You need to watch seven deadly sins movie before season 3.
