Ойын-сауық

Some of the video was sped up, the whole thing comes down in the end. This house was used in "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark"

Sad to see it torn down. Originally built for the 1942 film King's Row, this facade was part of Warner Bros. residential street for decades. Well known for being used in Elvira Mistress of the Dark, it was last used in the TV show Gilmore Girls as the character Dean's house. To those who have commented that it isn't important because it's not a real house, I'd remind you that this is still part of film history. It'd be a little like seeing them tear down the Munsters or Leave it to Beaver houses on Universal's backlot. When they're gone, they're gone.

I was at Warner Bros. backlot in summer 2013, sad to see a piece of Hollywood history torn down for a gift shop. The street it was in Hazzard county from the Dukes of Hazzard and was recently used for four years on Hart of Dixie.

Usually, there isn't much to see. Search for video of the interior of the Bewitched house before that street was demolished.

I get that it's a fake house. But they still should have saved the windows, and trims. They were actually quite beautiful.

Looks like fake windows... glass is single pane, window frames just made of cheap simple materials, seeing your post, I looked close. there are no counterweights or the usual guides and stuff, just the most rudimentary frame with glass and what looks like drapes just stapled in behind. There were however several very real lights hanging. not cheap ones either. They may be obsolete with new high efficiency lighting taking over, and so no good use. I hate to see waste too...

You can tell it's just a facade, because it was built quite flimsy compared to a regular house. And that's understandable
