You have to keep in mind not everyone with a sci is capable of doing that. Assuming you also have a truck, since a car comparison is way different since its much more easier to do that when you are level with your chair vs bending down to take it apart etc, then you are likely a very low injury. People who have very limited arm strength, stomach muscle control isnt capable of easily doing that with a truck. This is what the product is for.

Can you do this with a swing arm and winch in the back seat? Bruno lifts are not exactly in my budget. Fycking Canada wants 35 grand for the truck and another 25 grand for the lift. Talk about exploiting the disabled and taking money from them they don't have.

I love and care for my TiLite chairs way too much to ever think about going this route. There's no way I would ever allow my wheelchairs to get wet in the rain which would be inevitable using that product. No way....

Yes, that is definitely a concern. However, most applications for pickup trucks also include the power bed topper, which keeps everything safe and under cover.
