Its a shame that Molly and Judd refused to participate. It was an iconic moment in time and its sad that they don't embrace it.

I’m with Demi, I would have loved to see them all in the same room, a St. Elmo’s Fire reunion!

I saw the documentary and I loved it, it was so well done and I love how it was directed and put together, Demi was great, they all were it was amazing how each of them looked at those times, I loved that the guy who coined them the Brat pack was in it, funny how with age you inbrace things and see them differently, also had a crush on Andrew I enjoyed his film making on this, loved seeing the cast and others and the ending was fantastic with Judd, perfectly ended,

Because until then 'children' (even teens and 20s) were 'seen not heard '. Only x gen or boomers will probably get that. The breakfast club represented us all. We got 'the cane' back then

And mothers were re-entering the workforce, so kids did not get as much attention, for better or worse, at that time. It seemed like most of the kids felt lost and abandoned.

i’m like 2 decades younger, saw all the films because I googled “brats films”. never knew some of them took this term in a negative way.

It was meant negatively. The reporter was calling them entitled and ungrateful. That is why they didn’t take it as an endearment. A lot of them were unknown and reporters words held a lot of weight. It wasn’t fair to them.

Demi is looking fine AF, not to much plastic surgery or Botox. Beautiful!

She has had plenty of surgery and botox. I think she just found a better plastic surgeon/filler person. She looked really bizarre a few years ago. Now she is back to looking like herself. Which is a good thing, because in my opinion she is one of the most beautiful actresses of all time.

😂 she got plenty of surgeries just lately she found a good surgeon … she even admitted that she got her legs done to remove excess skin above her knees.

the BRAT PACK, they could not understand it was meant as a compliment, going back to the late 50s can early 60s ... SAYING here is the new BRAT PACK, like the RAT PACK, with FRANK SANATRA, DEAN MARTIN, SAMMY DAVIS JR, PETER LAWFORD JOEY BISHOP ,in my opinion it was never meant to be a put down but a sort of passing the torch so to speak.

Bring it on - they should all be able to laugh about it 40 years on. Compared to Sinatra's rat pack, these kids were tame. Even the substance abuse pale next to those that came after them

That writer was an ahole..jealous and defamed all their characters 😮😢 they were denied roles because they were type cast. ...they lost millions of $$ and many roles!! The are LEGENDS ❤❤❤❤❤❤

They will all tell you "we are not brats." The real "brats", the original brats are the ones that Howard Stern asked Rod Lowe about. The Beacon Hill Base Brats including Tom Green, Tom Cruise, Norm Mcdonald, Neil Mcdonald, Neil Osborne, Bryan Adams & the Prechopper Kid

The article was actually an attack on them. It wasn’t meant as an affectionate moniker. It is fascinating it became a positive thing.

I think it is really weird how Hollywood picked a very very similar type. Moore and Courtney Cox and Jennifer Connelly always come to mind.

Moore and Connelly i get where that comes from...i can't really see Cox thing...she is completely different type than them two! I would replace her with Brooke Shields, she is more of that "type"...

Cox is too "foxy" if you know what i mean, while the likes of Moore, Shields, Connelly they are more of that "Classy/Sultry" type...

Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson and Molly Ringwold all came across in the documentary as angry, spiteful grownups blaming the fact they don’t make it like Robert Downey Jr, Rob or Demi did on an article. Spare me.
