She is excellent here, but I’ve read that she was sick when she sang this song voice may be a little more strange than usual or horse but, I don’t look at it as a negative, I look at it as part of her charm. Because to me female power singers are a dime a dozen today and something has to really stand out for me to really be a fan, because they are all talented. And I just like the way Demi performs and her emotion and her energy. My favorite entertainer of all time is James Brown since 1968 and Demi is only the second performer and all that time that I could put up there. As a matter fact she’s my second favorite singer of all time now.

Fun fact: Demi used to be a huge metalhead! She's talked about her favorite bands being Job For A Cowboy, BMTH, and moshing at Dimmu Borgir/Unearth shows when she was 15. You can kiiind of hear that influence in her fetus albums. I really hope she goes back to her rock roots and hops off this pop train she's been on, because her voice is really ideal for rock.

Nah her voice is more for gospel or pop. I don't see her singing rock in the near future. She's made a name for herself doing pop, musical songs and gospel. So rock is not happening no time soon.

@@dmaster1000 eh, we'll see. Her first two albums were much more pop rock, and her first total fetus album actually had some of her heaviest rock songs. The r&b turn she took in 2017 does have that gospel vibe though. But she's kind of involved in emo nite stuff, she's collabed with Fall out boy, and she did release that Travis Barker version, so we'll see

PLEASE PLEASE react to Demi Lovato - In Case! There's only one recorded version of her singing the song anywhere, because she refuses to perform the song live ever because it's too painful for her. It's also her best song, extremely emotional, absolutely perfect and technical vocal delivery.

If you thought Demi Lovato was just a pop girlish song person with no emotion in her songs. You are not a true fan of her work. She has sooooo many ballads and singles where it's literally a cry for help or she talks about her problems. They are so heartfelt and have meaning. So please do your research more.

Hey Paul! I sure did and what an amazing performance. She really gets into her music which is wonderful. So many performers distance themselves from a tune but she really dives in and makes deeply personal songs! It's one of the things I'm loving about her music :)

She has the pop music that makes her, her money. Then she has the music that makes her absolutely legitimate! Adele, Jesse J, about the only other singers that can do what she can. IMHO
