I CANT LISTEN TO THAT AGAIN IM SOBBING AND CANT STOP. As soon as you said 'it's okay' I was gone. I'm not a Lovatic but I used to watch her on Disney Channel as a kid and now to see her going through this - it kills me a little. I just want to hug her.

When she was on Disney she was on cocacine and she was on a really bad place watch her documentary simply complicated it's so upsetting tho like I sobbed every time and this song is so emotional for me because I watch her on Barney and Disney and went to one of her first tour shows and we all had no clue what was happening but ok she'll be okay she's done it before

Shawn X Oh yeah. The worst part is that you feel you’re so worthless that you _deserve_ to do such a thing to yourself. You _know_ the potential, but you don’t care. You think no one else would either. It’s a tough place to be. Five years clean, and “I’m sorry to myself” still hurts like a red hot railroad spike to the heart.

I’ve literally never cried to a song but this song hit hard because I knew about her addiction and to think she could have relapse on her sobriety from cocaine its heartbreaking 💔

This song destroys my heart. I'm 26, and I've been sober for a few years now. For some time I have plunged into alcoholism, alone against my inner demons who have been chasing me for years. This song represents what I am currently living, it is not an easy time. But thank you Demi, to have music as a means of expression to make my ills run away

This is what I needed. Im in tears... I can aplly to this so much. The most truth we have ever gotten from her. And Demi, if you're not sober, we can work it through with you. You've always been there for us, maybe it's our turn.

Its beautiful to see an honest reaction of something so honest and real.

Damn that "it's okay" gets me everytime! Knowing that I have been in that place where I have said that way too many times to loved ones who have relapsed. No matter what I'll always be there for them and same with Demi I'll always be a fan.

That song is.........so much of me put into less than 4 minutes. When I heard that song, everything that I bottled up inside just came out.

Must have been hard to then find out she overdosed recently...I think this song was a cry for help and that she had relapsed. Its a beautiful and emotional song.

It's OK! It's OK. She can do it again. Don't give addicts who tripped any ':(' and don't be sad for them. Brush it off them, and tell them how they can just go again, and for longer this time! If (like Demi obviously is) they're committed to sobriety, they can and will get back on that wagon. I don't worry about Demi. I'm 100% sure she's worrying about herself and has a good support system. She's very strong, especially for someone suffering from addiction. Role model for sure.

the last line where demi says im sorry to myself is just everything those 4 words just mean a lot in many different ways and its really heartbreaking to hear this song especially because no one ever noticed what she was going through i feel like i should have been there like we all should have been there for her she went through all this on her oen and i feel really bad right now😢
