She was not offered any role in Sandokan so she didn't have what to refuse. It was announced at the end of last year that lady Marianna would not be a Turkish or Italian actress. Demet was never in the talk for this role.

What I think is a false tale. No one made any offers to Demet. It has long been said that she will not be a Turkish or Italian actress. Demet doesn't have a job, so he's not on the screen. If we look back at all her series after EK ,according to IMDB they were not higher than 3 in rating [ except for My Home my Destiny , which was a little higher ] not to mention AF which was between 1-2. Yeah, right, she was not offered any role that's why she needs rest.

Dosta vas je vise u tolikoj mrznji prema ovoj glumici, a nicim izazvane...Ne razumijem ,zbog cega vam je tesko priznati da je Can postao ovo sto je danas zahvaljujuci EK , isto kao i Demet...To je Can , osobno izjavio, da zahvaljuje Demet na ovome sto sam danas i svi buduci uspjesi pripadaju na polovicu njoj...Dakle,nemojte umanjivati njezino umijece glume,samo zbog toga sto je nekad bila u dugoj emotivnoj vezi sa Canom,a ni jedna buduca i prijasnja partnerica nije mu pomogla da bude zvijezda !!! Az első pillanattól kezdve szóba sem került Demet. Valamit nagyon rosszul tudsz. Nem alkalmas a szerepre. Régen közölték pont az ilyen hazug KZread információk hamis videók miatt hogy sem olasz sem török színésznő nem lesz. Demet darabos nem elég finom és nem elég tehetséges a szerephez. Ha hiszed ha nem a Farah befejezése óta 2023 december nincs munkája. 2023. szeptembere óta nem hívták filmezni. Kabir bedinek az eredeti Sandokánnak nincs semmi beleszólása a szereplő válogatásba. Az is egy hamis álhír volt. Itt egymás után készítik a hamis videókat a Demetesek hogy felszínen tudjon maradni. Ti meg bedőltök minden marhaságnak. Cannak a háta közepére sem kell ez a nő. How did you know all this Even the original Sandokan Bedi , his choice’s was Demet and said , it will be a successful Sandocan and she’s a good actress and there’s no doubt about it .but for other’s Demet wasn’t offered for the role .they will say anything negative about Demet .
