He had a great yr that yr. But he Led the entire league in both fumbles And fumbles Lost... and what was a sure TD At the Packers.. Before Dez got Robbed... Nobody talks about that. Just like everyone talks about the Romo Fumbled snap in the playoffs At Seattle? But Never talk about the Terry Glenn( RIP) Fumble- Safety? And then defense Not getting a Stop? Gave up a TD? And the lead? Causing Romo to drive us down.. again... Into FG range for a chance to win.

I truly believe if we hadn't got screwed on the catch from Dez vs Green Bay, that we would've beat Seattle in the NFC championship and made our 1st Superbowl since 95. I don't know if we would have beat NE, but at least Romo would have gotten to a Superbowl.

@themaninthewoods9000 I've said that for years. The biggest let down was 2007 though. If Crayton doesn't drop that pass right before halftime that he would have scored on and he doesn't let up on his route in the end zone on one of the last plays I think they would have made it to the bowl then to.

@@bigred9991I absolutely agree. Plus in 2007 TO had just got hurt the game before the giants game. He was playing hobbled. 2007 and 2014 were probably the best teams we’ve had since the 90’s glory years. I don’t think we would have beat New England in 2007 but we definitely had a shot in 2014.

Unfortunately all I remember is the fumble against the Packers that would have went for a TD that also would have sealed the game for us. But no he has to fumble. Coincidentally, once again, Romo got blamed for that loss when he had a great game.

If there was ever a cowboys team since the 90s that was supposed to go to the Super Bowl it was that one. Sure we’ve had some good teams since then, but that was the only cowboys team I’ve seen roll into the defending SB champ/ future nfc champions house, being the PRIME legion of boom, and rolled them with ease and confidence. Every cowboys team since then has seemed in over their heads against the leagues premier teams but not in 2014. Of course we are horrifically cursed in the playoffs though and we all know how that ended.

@drums3269 it wasn't all on the line. He had already been in the league for 4 years and that last season for the Boyz he carried the ball over 400 times which is basically a death blow to RB's regardless of what year they were in. Very few RB's have toted the rock over 400 times and had a good to great season the following season.
