I find Skyclubs at Delta hubs to be superior to Centurions lounges in terms of space, amenities, and overall look and feel. I’m also content with the food and beverage offerings. Great vid

I agree but the Alaska lounge is way less packed all inclusive a little bit smaller the one in jfk anyway

Delta has become my new favorite lounge. Air France lounge is coming up with every excuse to deny people entry, and the Centurion lounge is overcrowded half the time (they are working on that issue).

One of my favorite airport lounges. The food is always good with a nice variety of appetizers, hearty main dishes and desserts. The beverages are good in selection and very good in quality. Seating variety is outstanding and each style is comfortable. I especially love the view to the south and west over the active runway. Cleanliness and relative quietness compared to other competing products really seals the deal.

This is my favorite Delta Sky Club I’ve been to so far. I’ve been to a handful across the USA - Atlanta, Detroit, Salt Lake City, Denver, MSP, Portland, and Phoenix. The shower stalls are very nice, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious.

Check out the ATL Concourse B Delta lounge as that is the hub of Delta. That particular Skylounge is huge and has tons of food and a wine machine.

Looks like a really nice lounge at SEA. Based at DTW so rarely go to SEA. Mostly SLC if headed west. SLC lounge is just ok. One lounge for the whole airport and it a hub = not good.

@@aldenz776 It was a layover for me, so I can't comment on the city, but basically any US (and 90% of international cities) are safe as long as you know what you're doing. At least that's my experience as a youngish male.

@@aldenz776 It's pretty safe as long as you're staying in the riverfront, nightclub, casino district, campus district and downtown areas on Woodward. Western Detroit and Northern Detroit are where most incidents happen, and from an eye test you can practically tell which areas are fine and which aren't.

This came just in time for my 6 hour layover in Seattle. I'll still have to pay $29 to get in on my delta gold card but it will be worth it when I don't have to eat in the main terminal, one question I do have is does it have showers?

Wow, so much better than the Skyclubs at PDX, LAX, DFW, DIA...

I used to get in paying $29 with Delta's Gold Amex Card (now have Amex Platinum), and I thought that price was worth it IF you were staying for more than 2 hours. But I think it also depends on the airports and their lounges. The SkyClub in Concourse F at ATL is definitely worth the price, whereas the one in SLC has no good views and can be a pain when it's super crowded (given that it's the only one for the Delta hub and SLC is being rebuilt).

@@sandropeta In my experience, they need to swipe it in order to charge the $29 fee to the same Delta card. Not sure if you can present a Delta Amex card but pay with a different one. For Amex Platinum, I added it to my wallet in my SkyMiles account, and they just scan my boarding pass when I enter.

It's a great SkyClub, with the service being a massive highlight. Every time I've visited, the roaming staff haven't been able to do enough for passengers. There are 2 downfalls though: 1. Beecher's Mac and Cheese was previously a fixture food-wise here. I haven't seen it available in the lounge for quite a while (I may be wrong here, and honestly hope I was just unlucky each time I flew). 2. The spa insists on offering products featuring that pseudo-scientist moron Deepak Chopra. How any company in their right mind associates themselves with him (even if Delta outsources the actual operation of that spa) I've no idea.

galaxy s10+ for the win

This is a huge Flagship-style lounge. That one is a standard U. S. domestic lounge, smaller with more limited offerings.

I used to fly Alaska primarily because they are a local company but since then they no longer accept Priority Pass I no longer Fly Alaska but mainly Delta for there lounge and I'll use the Amex but it's mehhh....

I have the gold card, If I would like to upgrade to the platinum will it automatically cancel my gold card or would I have to keep it and pay the annual fee for both?

You can either upgrade and not have the gold or just apply for the platinum separately.

I wish the Platinum would allow one guest for the Delta lounge access. There is already the restriction of needing to fly Delta that will prevent it from being abused. Allowing the one guest makes it a reasonable perk, in my eyes, instead of largely a dud because I'm not willing to pay for a guest and rarely travel alone.

Hey I wanted to ask and if anyone could answer, I'm planning to to get a couple of credit cards within this year but I'm 3 months away from being out of Chase's 5/24. Here is my card history so far Capital One Platinum: 1yr, 9 mos (will become 10 mos this month, Apr) Chase Freedom Unlimited: 1yr, 8 mos Furniture Store #1: 1yr, 8 mos Furniture Store #2: 1yr, 5 mos If I were to apply for a non-chase card right now does that mean I have to wait until Apr 2021 or I am still able to get a Chase card in July? (Yes I know I can/should apply for that Chase card right now, but I like to make sure I'm paying for the annual fee during a month I feel it's most convenient)

The Centurion Lounge in Seattle is tiny, but worth a visit for the dessert section. Best cookies I've had. They don't have a kitchen so the food is from vendors. If you're looking for more space to lounge around, then go to the Sky Club.
