It's crazy that i never seen any chapter of any sorority/fraternity do this. I have always felt that if your brothers/sisters are worthy. surround them in the love of the brother/sister hood. believe it or not i'm sure these girls will have a bond with there sisters for years to come. Great job ladies

I mean every one of them are the same height! :-) Nice event. Serious team work for such a large group. Impressive and expressive. It brings out the shyest of the shy.

I love this because you dont see everybody being the same size or having the same hair does and i like that. And I see sisterhood.

I believe this was the best Delta Sigma Theta probate I have ever seen. Awesome job ladies.

@@Deerych I wish they wouldn't do that as ladies. I believe it stems from the hip hop kulture. Back in the day sororities did not do that in step shows and probate shows. It takes away from their beauty and makes them kome across too aggressive. However...one of the best pricision probate shows I've ever seen. I've seen a lot.

Well I guess you'll be happy to know that Delta is an organization based in the Christian faith, which is why every grad chapter has a chaplain and every meeting begins and ends with prayer.

a great book to read is called in search of sisterhood. give you history on how these orgs came to be and why they're so culturally different than traditional greek organizations on American campuses.

to learn about this org. simply type in Delta Sigma Theta history and you'll see how many very influential and powerful historic women where Deltas. this is called a probate. it's like a public announcement for all. the community comes out to support the new members. They put on a show. it's usual followed by a party and tons of gifts,food, money is given to new pledges. No one knows who pledges. It's secrete process that requires high GPAs, a history or public service, etc to be considered. Many are interested because members enjoy a lot of priviledges that will stay with them until the day they die. They will always get help and support no matter where they live in the world. DST sorority incorporated. is the largest black greek lettered org in the world with chapters all over and more than 350,000 members

Shopping Queen, there is no such thing as "sworn in" in Greek Life. One must go through the pledging process for undergraduate and graduate. Oh to be a Delta girl is not that simple as one may think. 💃💃💃🔺️🔺️🔺️🐘🐘🐘
