Ойын-сауық
This short-lived series was a spin-off/sequel to the feature film "Animal House." It aired in 1979 and lasted only 13 episodes.
Some actors from the movie spilled over to the series. The show also added a young, beautiful actress by the name of Michelle Pfeiffer to the cast.
This is Episode 1 entitled "The Legacy" and aired on Saturday, January 18, 1979 at 8:30pm on ABC.
Synopsis (from IMDB.com) - Faber College, Oregon. 1962. Jim Blutarsky, the younger brother of the John 'Blutto' Blutarsky (who has been drafted into the US Army), transfers to Faber and is pledging the legendary Delta Fraternity house, since he is a legacy. Robert Hoover and the Deltas throw a welcoming party for Blutto, but find that he is somewhat natty, doesn't drink, and is nothing like his brother. Meanwhile, the corrupt dean of Faber, Vernon Wormer, teams up with the stuffy and wealthy members of Delta's rival, Omega House, to plan another way to get the riotous members of Delta expelled.

Can't believe that this had the same writers as the movie.
Thank you for posting this! I love watching a good train wreck of a TV show
The laugh track was the only laughs it got.
So this explains why this show lasted only 13 episodes. Woof

13 seems like a lot.
Can't have Animal House without the resident animal, Belushi.
Curiosity satisfied. Don't feel the urge to watch any more episodes, but thank you for uploading it.
Great quality transfer. Good job!
I like the laugh track!!! I actually remember when this aired and it wasn't on very long. I'm glad these are online.
Peter Fox as Otter? I remember he did a handful of episodes of "The Waltons" as Rev. Hank Buchanan...

I wonder why he got a “and Peter Fox” in the credits as if he was a huge star.
It would never work as a TV show in the 70s. The broadcasted film for TV was heavily censored.
Right backing could have went a few years. I liked the first show.
I gather this exists in some alternate reality where Delta isn’t shut down, they don’t crash the parade and escape. And no Boone? (Peter Fox would make a better Boone than an Otter.) Is that Nardwuar as Swami, the pre-written paper supplier? It would make sense, Nardwuar is very good at research.
4:09 i love how the ONLY black person in the episode was a butler 😂😂

It is set in 1962. I doubt they’d have been able to get Otis Day and the Knights for the show.

Why is Flounder still wearing his freshman beanie?
I've only watched 2 minutes and I think I've seen enough. Animal House was great! Delta House is not.
11:19 "Watching you like a leech"?? It's watching you like a hawk. There's no way Harold Ramis and Doug Kenney actually wrote this crap....
Nice
Tried to do a mashification but no go.
I ❤️ D Day
Flounder Robert D Day and The Dean stay the same

Wormer's secretary is the same, even though she has a much bigger role here than in the movie...
Blotto is the principle from billy madison.
This is just sad.
About $175.00 in todays money for a paper. Dang thats expensive
Brian Patrick Clarke (Greg) joined Eight is Enough after this was cancelled as minor league ballplayer Merle "the Pearl" Stockwell--eventually Susan's husband...
Jim Blutarski aka Belushi would have been better.
My my this is bad lol
1:19 I like Flounder running up the porch steps while doing a T-pose.
I bet the dean cheated

The DEEN is a momther. I may be born on a house but you a manminal house. Get your roustabout and I'll get mine and meet me on the quadrangler at 11:68pm or you'll be happy.
Horrible desecration of the films memory.
Why do Americans destroy comedy shows with canned laughter? We'll know when it's funny and laugh accordingly.
Totally unwatchable. Should have been cancelled after the first episode.
Can't believe that this had the same writers as the movie.
