I purchased a Asus Rog g16 laptop with 4060 graphics 20 days back and today it's screen backlight is not glowing screen become dark. Service engineer diagnoise mother board defective. Sir guide me what to do . Laptop is just 20 days old

But when I connect an external monitor to this laptop it is working fine but laptop screen is no brightness at all. I'm also btech electronics running my own repair workshop specialized in medical, and scientific research equipment repair and air-conditioning inverter card repair business. i think you have the warranty right? it is a 19 v line issue. could be lcd could be a motherboard related issue.. but it is a very easy solution.. nothing to worry about.. can i help you about anything?

I am from Pakistan. I have same laptop with similar fault. Is it possible that I send my motherboard to you for the repair. Some Pakistani repairers had checked it but weren't able to make a change. I am a student and will not be able to afford a new one...
