USB media creation and BIOS settings is the same for both Ubuntu and Windows 10. The PPT option is up to you, I recommend that you should disable it while installing Windows. PPT option is an advanced thing and it can be enabled or disabled easily in future if there is a need.

Have you placed password on the BIOS? If it is yes then enter the password.

To check whether the BIOS is password protected or not. Start the laptop, press F2 key. You will find out that BIOS is password protected or not.

If the BIOS is password protected and you do not know the password then we go to reset the BIOS. BIOS reset process is a bit hard. If you are a new to do this, I suggest you to leave it.
