Sadly, on ps4, all the sonic games (including team racing) except forces are gone 😢😢😢 But they should bring back those games as well as add origins plus, frontiers, and superstars, and even sonic X shadow generations when that comes out, don't need original generations back.

@@ballinn0430 Unless your CMOS battery is dead and PSN servers go down, RIP PS3 digital libraries of all who updated their PS3's in 2022 with Sony's surprise update to patch out the fix, but not fix the problem it circumvents. Honestly, screw Sony especially.

The fact that games can get delisted at all is testament to why we need everything on physical media.

Reminder, CFW is super easy to do on consoles the slim console 25XX (early releases) and under and all fat consoles, and later models can use HEN to run homebrew. Don't let them take these games from you.

@@160sharp in most cases from what I read you shouldn’t be and the only way you would be is by playing online or playing online while using cheats Ive be considered syncing my trophies myself but idk if I have to take extra steps or not since on Reddit people are keep saying different things

Custom firmware solves all these issues.

All of the James Bond PS3 games got physical releases, but the final Bond game, 007 Legends, had a Skyfall DLC mission that finished the story. Without it, the game leaves off on an indefinite cliffhanger :(

Craig didn’t really fit in with those bond eras, the bosses didn’t feel like bosses, the horrible qte’s and the game was that bad activision had the license taken away and weren’t allowed to make anymore 007 games. And 007 legends is the sole reason when never got future 007 games. It was probably one of the lowest sold games on ps3

They need to update laws surrounding abandoned ware. If a company doesn't allow you to buy their game you should be allowed to download it without issue.

Even though Scott pilgrim got ported to ps4/5 it bugs and crashes often... least on ps4 i cant even finish it I git a ps3 emulator and played it that way, annoys me its more stable emualtion wise and 😂

Nice video but like you said, sadly there are more PS3 games that was de-listed and lost in time, some other no mentioned are: -TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled -OutRun Online Arcade -Sega Rally Online Arcade -Earthworm Jim HD -The Simpsons Arcade -X-Men Arcade -Marvel vs Capcom Origins -Marvel vs Capcom 2 -Blokus -The Fancy Pants Adventures -Burnout Crash! -Gripshift -Call of Juarez: Gunslinger And probably many more that I'm not aware of yet. And just in case there is another PS3 game that will be de-listed around the first days of May and is: Flock! which is another Capcom game.

Daytona USA also got delisted. It's no longer possible to buy the game for both PS3 and Xbox 360. All PS1 Crash and Spyro games also got delisted, but I might be wrong on this one.

Well, good to see the PS3 online store is still on. The Xbox 360 one shuts down this June, I hope the PS3 store stays online a little more longer, because you could still buy 360 games off the web store because of backwards compatibility, but the PS3 doesn't have that.

4:20 you can still buy FAT PRINCESS If you have the demo you can recommend it to a friend and it will send them a message that redirects you to the old store page

I've bought a good few games that were delisted off of the PS VITA store but were on the PS3 and PS4 store either under cross buy games or in the PS VITA section on the PS3. If you buy them just go into the wii purchased section on the PS VITA and you can download them from there. Same as that when you are looking at games on the PS VITA, the games that show up on the sidebar (to the right of the screen) sometimes shows delisted games and you can sometimes buy those games from there (sometimes you can click them but not buy them)

I've got World Gone Sour, it's a pretty amusing game.

Can't say I've played many of those but glad to see they created me just about perfect in the game about me!

The Punisher: No Mercy is another delisted game. I probably would have checked it out if it were still available. Even though classic Doom is on nearly every system, the PS3 compilation Doom Classic Complete also became delisted. Thankfully I bought it, and unlike the modern ports of Doom and Doom 2, the PS3 version has online MP and Co-Op.

Tony hawk pro skater HD. I know I’m not missing much, but to see some classic levels on a ps3 would’ve been cool. I heard it was infinitely better than thps5

Free Realms was like RuneScape in that you had a lot of skills and each could be trained and leveled. What made it unique was that each skill (that wasn't a combat class) had its own minigame. For instance, there was kart racing, soccer, and a collectable card game, each with their own minigame and associated skill/levels. Each was multiplayer too. That on top of more traditional combat classes for going into dungeons and such. Then you could show off your cool clothes and stuff you earned. Instead of being a traditional MMO or an online chat room like Club Penguin it was basically the middle point between the two ideas! It wasn't great but it was a unique idea. I would love to see another game tackle the concept.

I know at the least that they delisted Klonoa 1 for PS1 and Sonic The Fighters here in Europe. One that is crazy expensive and the other that an exclusive character in these consoles (Honey The Cat based on a character from another Sega Arcade, Fighting Vipers)

The problem with this generation is that I didn’t have money. Granted I wasn’t a kid. But it was on PS4 when I managed to get my hands on everything I wanted instead of being a COD only kid.

You missed "Turtles in Time: Reshelled". It was available on PS3 as a digital purchase, but was delisted after a very short period of time. I have no idea what happened. But my friends bought and played - and by the time I tried to buy it, it was gone.

I've 100% World Gone Sour after Platnuming Hotline Miami. It was an ok short experience, but mostly got it over the commercials along with costing $3. If I remember right it felt like a side scrolling Pikmin. I wish I bought the Back to the Future physical copy, cus I never knew it had a Platnum. Given I liked the 1st 2 movies. I found those titles separately pretty neat. I used to play an episode after Platnuming a pretty long game like Darksiders 2, Assassin's Creed 2, FF13, Kingdom Hearts, and Resident Evil 6. I used to pride myself in Platnuming/100% all the Tekken & Soulcalibur games because I loved playing those franchises on Game Cube & PS2 as a kid. Sadly still regret sleeping on Lost Souls & Revolution, and I downloaded both! Just never knew when it was getting its servers shut down over hyper focusing on whatever Platnum I had on my plate at the time. As you've noticed I was a bit of a Trophy Hunter. However I've always tried to go for games I genuinely like. Even if it takes me a month or 2 to finish. I even spent an extra month on Dragon's Crown after getting my Plat helping others online, cus I loved the game soo much! A lot of Trophy Hunters from my experience don't like bothering with 100% games like a lot of these, but for me it served. As both a way to align milestones I had in mind, or try out short under 4 hour indy titles I at times found neat.

Ironically i have the telltales game you just listed Jurassic park monkey island and back to the future on my account still. Had fun playing and getting all the trophies for them.

I hacked/Soft modded my PS3 and also bought a RGH X360. I can download any game free and even put delisted games and content on my consoles. Thank you internet archive

I still have fat princess. It's on my download list. Sonic 1,2 and Duke Nukem i remember downloading years ago. They even disappeared from my download list.

I didn't even know Noby Noby Boy was a thing until Matthewmatosis' Death Stranding review, by which point it was already delisted.

Afterburner Climax(amazing game) Outrun, Tekken Revolution and a few others were de-listed too. I'm grateful I have Afterburner but I was too late when it came to Outrun. Licensing issues suck, and no physical for a good chunk of these games sucks too.

@@antiquecardboard So basically, Years I had a original model PS3 which I purchased the games on. it broke. About a year ago I brought a used PS3 from ebay which was selling cheap. I logged into my old account to download my games. Most of them downloaded fine, however some of them didn't (the ones I mentioned). Hopefully If you only purchased Daytona a year ago it might still be fine.

Jet Car Stunts for PS3 gone but not forgetten.

And then there was Ridge Racer Driftopia which got delisted and shut off the same day it was published, never to be seen again.

I had the luck in download that game day one just a few hours before they de-listed and also be one of the few players in the world in get all the trophies (the 100%). The microtransactions was darn buggy and people got things for free 😂, sadly in my case I couldn't get anything since the offers wasn't compatible with my PSN account (due to region's currency). But just in case despite the game was de-listed still the game's servers worked for like a year before Namco gave up on that title and shutdown, apparently from what I have heard they never could fix the microtransaction problem.

Don’t forget outrun online arcade was delisted

When I bought my PS3 I was gutted to find that GTI Club Plus was no longer available for purchase 😢

When you mentioned soul caliber and Tekken I was sure MvC2 and MvC origins would be next.

I have delisted games Marvel Vs. Capcom: Origins (includes Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel Vs. Capcom) and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Any time I get another PS3, I have to have those games downloaded and ready to play at any time.

Soulcalibur also lost II HD Online a little while back, unfortunately

They aren't PS3 games per se, but i was sad after finding out that Midnight Club 2 and 3 were delisted probably due to music licensing

Yeah!. How forget the first Ubisoft's game that had a 150$ microtransaction offer. Heck it was the most expensive thing on PSN at that time which in second place was a one year subscription to DC Universe Online (120$) and third place was a strange PS Move dev kit tool (I think it was?, it costed 100$).

World Gone Sour was free I believe? I played it as a kid (2012) and it felt like low budget little big planet.

I had no idea the PS3 store was still open.

With so many games being delisted, it’s only a matter of time before the Store closes. Microsoft is shutting down the 360 store and Nintendo recently shut down the Wii U and 3DS eShops. Every console goes through this, where it’s time for them to ride off into the Sunset.

Unless it's online only it can be pirated and emulated, hell, even with some online only titles a server emulator is possible if someone reverse engineers it.

My sonic 1 and 2 that i have for Years, canot be even played anymore.. only cd.. they deslisted from my library too..

It's easy to say it but the problem is that hardly ever the companies mention the de-listings beforehand, they just remove the game silently from the digital store and that's it. Very few companies actually took care of warn customers about future removals, only ones that I know were Nintendo, Sony, Capcom and some small indie studios.

True, it’s easy to say, but as time goes on you see that newcomers want to join in, but can’t bc it’s no longer available

When the pandemic hit and I got my stimulus check, I bought another PS3 to replace my original one that was damaged and lost. When I got everything set up, I discovered that, while I was able to redownload most of my library, over half of those games were unplayable due to the required update patches and hotfixes being removed. I also visited the PSN store and was sad to see it look like a former shell of itself. Like a real ghost town.
