Thats becz bjp lost lots of seats in UP and Maharashtra, the 2 biggest states in India. Choice of candidates was not good in both these states. I m from Odisha where Bjp won 20 out of 21seats. I am expecting lots of developement in my state.

These voters are a bunch of ungreatful people. Their mindset has to change. To them, their caste & creed is the most important things. Sad people. To begin with, UP's literacy rate is one of the lowest. Education tends to remove superstition and preconceived notions. Better late than never.

I am very confused about India’s voting patterns. Do people of India want such infrastructure or not? Looks like only very few people want growth and development. Most want to live in agrarian society with low income.

@@amanrautx Mostly BJP I think. 80-90% of India’s modern infrastructure was built/is being built during BJP’s time. Even national highway projects like Golden Quadrilateral were started by BJP. Most rail network, bridges, tunnels, power transmission, ports, hospitals, universities were all built during BJP administration. And they have been in power for just 16-17 years compared to the Congress 60 years when they adopted policies that bankrupted India.

Instead of doing all these infrastructural work, metro airport etc, BJP should rather do some caste politics and promise of free money distribution during election. It works more for a UP voters than infrastructure work. I was envy of development work being carried in UP. They are getting country's first RRTS also. Many cities in UP are getting metro network. These things would have been enough for me to cast my vote in favour of NDA.

Agar north belt, central and east India me reslts dekho toh saare urban centres me BJP hi jeeti hai. It's the rural India jahan pe they have faced heavy losses. Wahan pe unemployment bada factor ban rakha hai with some caste politics too. Also centre ke saare schemes kuch jagah properly laago nahi hue hai. India seriously needs to bring about massive reforms and modernisation of the police forces and build a force that a real emerging superpower must have. Looking at the current state of the police forces, bragging that India is a future superpower is so laughable. If the police are not fixed as fast as possible, movements to abolish the police may rise. Watch and learn from Dubai police to see how a modern police force should be like.
