Delhi Mumbai Expressway Madhya Pradesh Update
The Delhi Mumbai Expressway is a 1,350 km long, 8-lane wide (expandable to 12-lane) under-construction access-controlled expressway connecting India's national capital New Delhi with its financial capital Mumbai.[4][5][6][7] Foundation stone of the project was laid by union minister Nitin Gadkari in presence of Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley on 8 March 2019.[8] The total project value including the land acquisition cost is around ₹1,00,000 crores (~US$13.1 billion).[9] An additional 31 km long spur will also be constructed by the NHAI from Noida International Airport in Jewar to Sector-65, Faridabad on this expressway (DND-KMP Expressway).
#delhi_mumbai_expressway will connect Sohna Elevated Corridor, Delhi to Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Maharashtra via Dausa, Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara and Surat. It passes through the Union territory of Delhi (12 km) and the states of Haryana (129 km), Rajasthan (373 km), Madhya Pradesh (244 km), Gujarat (426 km) and Maharashtra (171 km). The main length of the expressway is from Sohna to Virar only i.e. 1,198 km. Additionally, it has two spurs: DND-Faridabad-KMP (59 km) and Virar-JNPT (92 km), which increases its length to 1,350 km.
Initially, the expressway will be 8-lane wide with the greenfield-alignment route in backward areas, which will reduce the current 24 hours travel time to 12 hours. Land for an additional four lanes shall be reserved in the middle of the road for future expansion, along with the space for utilities, plantation and public transport on both sides. This expressway, along with Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (Western DFC) will be a vital backbone of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.

I have traveled in both US & China, this expressway is definitely #1 in the world, beats any other highway between two major cities; Chinese highways are mostly 3 lane, this is 4 lane expandable to 6 lane each side for 1300 kms, absolutely amazing & one of its kind built to last 100 years. Scenery both in MP & Maharashtra will overshadow Route 66 in US. People will remember Modi Ji & Gadkari Ji for next 100 years at least. Simply outstanding infrastructure work across the nation 👏 (Pl make a short highlights video & put time stamps in this video)

I remember watching a civil engineers videos of these hill areas being cut. Amazing updates as usual and the drive through was the icing on the cake👍🇮🇳
I am just happy to finally seeing a road with actually well placed markings. Also, people will hopefully start driving in lanes after these roads.

I have travelled at this expressway from Delhi to Dausa. My only concern is the services area. I hope some premium restaurants and hotels opens in the near future because the ongoing local places running by NHAI are very slow to serve the people travelling on this expressway. Also thank you for such beautiful drone shots because my drive was so smooth and comfy that I didn't realise if there were any interchanges or not.

Beautiful expressway, I congratulate all the workers and engineers of India for doing an excellent job. This expressway supersedes international standards. All the road markings are clear and neat. Minister of road transport and highways - Please make sure that all expressways have visible police patrols (law enforcement) to ensure motorists fully comply with the rules and regulations of the roads e.g. no drinking and driving, obeying speed limits etc. Master Rajan Singh, thank you very much for the update, as usual brother your work is superb.

ट्रक वाले Lane System follow nhi करते हैं, 70 की स्पीड में किसी भी लेन में चलाते है जिससे कार वालो को क्रॉस करने में बहुत परेशानी होती है और दुर्घटना का डर बना रहता हैं, CCTV या GPS के द्वारा चालान भी लगाना चाहिए
