This seems to be the year for our family and Texas this year. Our Grandson Graduated his training from there in April even thou he couldn't come home til July.....sent for more in depth training from there. Then in May our Son, not his Dad, and Daughter-in-law spent a week and half in St Augustin for a convention and then a weeks vacation. Love the Air Port pictures. We are headed that way this week for a RV road trip. Their's was for work and pleasure. Ours is for pleasure only and because of alot of your wonderful videos of the historical value and even spotted a few restaurants in the videos that we have looked up but in different areas than where you were shooting video. So, once again, Thank You.

Google earth doesn’t do the same. Google earth does snapshots, not live video, and it can’t see under the structure. Sure, YOU may think generic, because you are not being malicious. Standing there recording the front gate looks just like an adversary studying security protocol. It’s not nonsense- it is a tactic that is and has been used by military adversaries. People learn the customs of how to act to not look suspicious, how many guards they are, how they are armed, what their shifts are, or tracking specific people that enter and exit the base. I’m not suggesting you were breaking the law, all I am saying is that what you were doing outwardly appears just like what someone would be doing if the were planning any number of … nefarious activities.

You should know how layered security works.

It’s not a base full of trained soldiers in the sense you are thinking. Not all soldiers are equally trained. My comment is factual and based on first person knowledge and experience. You are speaking from ignorance. I was setting the story straight. But if you’d rather just complain over something you know nothing about and remain ignorant than go for it. But I’m not the one being ridiculous.

Looking at these comments, ya’ll don’t understand how Del Rio is. Very professional coming from all of our law enforcement branches. We all work together and are tight nit, especially with our military base.

If you feel someone might steal your security protocol, then maybe that should tell you to have more than one, and to change it up maybe every quarter. Just like your password for your office computer, IT-Department forces you to change it on a regular basis.

When you referenced 3802, look at the cop’s face. He has no clue. You could have quoted the number to Pizza Hut and he would have given you the “sounds about right” nod...

To those at the gate, it did appear THEY MADE YOU LEAVE. High Desert always makes sure they leave first and that the people viewing know it. When they THINK they have won, they have won.

Taking pictures should not be suspicious at all. The cop also cannot require him to show his ID. There should be no problem with him filming there. Your security protocols are not a secret. Everyone who has been on the base knows what they are. It isn't complicated.

I'm amazed that people are so scared of terrorist attacks. Have I missed stuff apart from an attack that happened 20 years ago that's the only one I've heard of. Do you get ones not reported world wide. When I lived in the UK the IRA Attacked regularly for years. people would talk about it that week, then back to normal till the next one. I'm half expecting some to bring up pearl harbour. 🤔 Enjoying my journey through your lense. Thanks 👍🤗
