The A.C.L. special was the first time I saw Del and the boys and I was floored! Jaw dropping musicianship and tons of fun. It really made me into a bluegrass fan, rather than just a casual admirer. :)

I discovered these guys a few years back when they did an album with Steve Earle (The Mountain). Then they did another one I liked with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. But, this is great. I bet it makes John Sebastion is proud

I saw y’all at the Farm in Beaver, Arkansas, and they put on one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I saw them at The Grand Ole Opry with Steve Earle, and that was the best bluegrass show I’ve ever seen.

Check out The Earls of Lester today. They are like a Scruggs and Flatt tribute band with some monsters playin'. Shawn Camp (of Guy Clark fame) singing up front. Woo hoo.

There should be "reply" between, Like and Dislike. This band does a exemplary cover of the original... The Lovin' Spoonful w/ John Sebastian, lead singer, songwriter and musician. He wrote this song and preformed it in 1966. The original is a folksy/ country/ rocky?/signature style of John Sebastian. When you almost yodel and pick it out, it reminds me of Minnie Pearl / Chet Atkins. There were the best. However, when you have a frenetic pace to this song, it completing changes the intended impact/ feeling that the composer was conveying.
