Deku's point was he worked and proved himself to get his power whilst naruto was always naturally gifted whether he knew it or not. Tbh Naruto won with Statutory lone and Deku saying his dad was a hokage was a bad line cause Naruto had nothing 3red raised him till he was 12 where he had a bad life and only had 3rd that treated him well, Deku was a basic kid he didnt have a bad family (till dad went poof) and naruto got him on that to counter his dad line so yeah naruto countered everything with a rebuddle and naruto had most savage line

You can't deny though that sometimes people are unfairly bias toward the older anime just because they either grew up with them or they came first.
