Bakugo bullied Izuku because he felt that izuku was surpassing him and he didnt wanna deal with his own weaknesses or something like that, he states something along those lines in the apology

The manga's writer puts a lot of bakudeku details into the anime/manga you can only see it if you pay close attention, but it's there. The 1st reason we ship is they suit (jk) The 2nd reason is that their past and future are very connected, their destinies are somehow connected hope you understand

​@@riu.6574 While that may have been the reason, it doesn't erase everything Midoriya had to go through. Bakugou said and did horrible things to Midoriya and he didn't used to be a very nice person. Not to say he hasn't changed because he has and I actually like the character now. I personally don't ship bakudeku but no hate to anyone that does. I've always been open to ships even if I don't ship it. I'm a bit more open to it after the apology but I still don't ship it.
