You put that Spirit of Excellence back into HBCUs. You set a goal! You achieve it! You have HELPED Jackson when no one ever would. GOD BLESS YOU AND THANK you! This interview was needed. He asked all the pink elephant questions. This is why nobody in Jackson should be mad. "Where is the money?!" Why are we always begging or strapped for cash or undefunded at HBCU's?!" He enlighted us on these issues but besides alumni not giving back compared to white alumni there is the mishandling of funds and poor administrating that needs to addressed pronto!

  • @pc638

I think I missed the mishandling of funds in this interview. I heard that “the business” needed to be tighter. Within that, I heard “just being around PWIs is a honor”, but the money didn’t add up; it’s bad business. Problem (another) identified; who has the courage and BACKING to address? At this point ALL HBCUs should be mad, not just Jackson.

It;s really just a ploy to get attention and good PR. Deion is just a talented man in many ways but hes also a smooth talker who manipulates every situation for his benefit. This interview made me feel like I was sitting in the room. Coach Prime is such a phenomenon who gave Jackson and JSU all your heart in spite of your health challenges. We were blessed to have you. Love you and pray for you. 💙🙏🏽👑

Thank you Shannon for giving Coach Prime a voice to show people who he is and what he has done and not what he has not done.

“I had a gift, a work ethic because I saw my mama working, working, working.,” Deion Sanders. How can you not root for this man. He turns boys to men. Praying for much success at CU❤

Your really said what his real gift is...He turns boys to men. All coaches will say that when recruiting someone's child. He DOES it!!!.

Thanks, Coach Prime. I attended three HBCUs. I worked, briefly, at another. My parents both graduated from HBCUs. We all appreciate you for raising the profiles of our schools. And thank you for reminding alumni that they are not giving.

Shannon Sharpe has brought the casual fan back to football. I’m learning about PRIME and this interview….. I can feel the friendship and joy they have for each others success. This was a deep classic footage.

This is very sincere and genuine. Deion is very transparent. He needed to sit down with family to bring this outta him. Shannon Sharpe is like family to him.
