"An eye for an eye makes the world go blind" thats powerful man. That gave me more chills than the WaW loading screen when Elena starts singing

This is why World at War was the peak of old Call of Duty, it is also why MW2 started to take the series into a different direction, because, they nailed it here, so why do more.

Lil bit funny how in comparison, MW2 and 3 became way more action oriented compared to MW2007, which to an extent was also the case with BO1 and 2 though with a solid narrative attached

WAW was mid. Basically just what Treyarch/Gray Matter Studios had been doing up to that point, but with an edgier atmosphere and having a "war is bad" message.

I just wanna say that I enjoy watching your content, but I wish you dived into the AC series. I think you should look into AC3 since there's a lot of signifigance and redeeming qualities about it regarding gameplay and storytelling that I don't think anyone has ever really addressed on YT. Either way, keep up the good work and I'm excited to see the next vid!

Still the best WW2 game for me. Really wish we also had campaigns for Britain and China. Reznov was also one of my favorite COD characters.

The Pacific Theater was not given this much of a story compared to the European, and was more so to show-off the gameplay; granted there was some in the European too. One thing though that ties this story up, is the ending of the campaign where it is said that war in the West, must be fought in the East. There's triumphant music with the footage of the Enola Gay, but cuts to black with no music; as the bombings on Japan are seen. It then cuts to MacArthur's speech of how this war will hopefully shape no more destruction after. It cuts to two tag lines, with two loud bell tolls accompanying that in paraphrase, mention how many lives were lost in World War 2, and how it's been the deadliest conflict since. The only thing missing, should have been a world map as a background, as it played...

This game stills in the reality of this war and war in general. Everyone fighting for the allies in this war, fighting for them and their comrades freedom did not die in vain. They will be remembered and honored as long as humanity lives.

Anyone here think when you first see reznov again and when he asks you you kill ten Germans that are bleeding out think that killing them is actually an act of mercy personally I do so when I play Chernov will say I don’t understand him because chernov doesn’t see killing the Germans bleeding out is mercy
