I miss the next generation class, they had such an authentic, real feel to them. The show seemed so much more realistic and gritty. I miss how they used to focus on a smaller group of cast, you really got to know the characters deeper. I always liked seeing the characters at home and that their live is different from outside of school. Now it's so polished and has the fake TV studio feel. The show barely scrapes the surface of most of the characters. ALSO, the school is way too nice, like what school looks like that?

Caitlin G I agree with everything but that last one lol. They all live in a really good neighborhood in Canada so I’m not surprised the school is super nice.

Why don't they make a Reunion of Degrassi the next generation with the whole cast and have at least 20 episodes. I just want to see what they are doing these days

When Craig sang the theme song at the end gave me chills 😢😭

I'm pretty sure I cried when Craig appeared and was singing Rescue You. That song is my favorite and so is Craig so it was just great. I also loved the name drops for people who weren't there (Terri, Manny and ofc Jimmy)

Drake needs to stop actin Hollywood and come back😂😂😂😂😂 manny too:(

***** I know, but when you think about it, there is an period of time that a cast member could be on the show. Had Drake not left to make it big in music, he would've been gone anyways because the class he's in graduated.

The minute Spinner said his purpose was to "Serve up the new cast on a silver platter" that indicated something to me.. That basically says right there the studio knows the audience isn't buying into these new characters, There is a reason everyone liked Spinner, Jimmy, Sean, Craig, Emma, Manny, Liberty, J.T., Toby, etc. the original cast, They were all given a character and a storyline to work with now the kids seem they are lacking some of the depth the actors from back then had plus they all fit into the big picture and watching them all since grade 7 the audience got to know them over time thats why the original cast will always be the best.

Where Cassie Steele though? She didn't want to do it?

Adamo is life! Always one of my favorite cast members.

Man I really wish I grew up with Degrassi. I’ve just started watching it recently a lot and it’s really amazing. Like imagine watching Degrassi: The Next Generation throughout your childhood, becoming an actor and then making a part in Degrassi: The Next Class. And then being able to meet many of the former actors whom you watched for so long to film an episode. Absolutely a dream for me!

Holly J was my last favorite character, after she left I tried to continue watching but it just wasn't the same without the original cast. I'm sure it's still a nice show but I guess my Degrassi days are just over. Anyway, did anyone else notice the guy who was holding a microphone ( 1:03 ) was wearing a Holly J t-shirt? Didn't know they still had those :)

Really wanted to see J.T- Ryan Cooley- in that episode...but I'm pretty sure some eyebrows would be raised.🤔😂

No Manny, no Sean, no one a part from Snake from the older degrassi, no Claire or Alli or Eli. None of the other characters I loved. Please do another reunion but with lot of the old cast!!!

SPOILER ALERT: Degrassi, you know I love you but... Emma and Spinner still together, really? After Linda and Stephen, the creators of Degrassi: The Next Generation (and nearly everyone else involved in the show) admitted that it came out of nowhere AND it was a huge mistake? You know it, I know it, the show's cast knows it: It's always been Emma and Sean, always will be.

honestly this was the worst decision/ tv moment for me when i was a kid. right next to wasting all my time on instant star just to have tommy and june not end up together.

For those of you who just want to watch the Reunion episode, it's season 2 episode 5 on Netflix. I'm 30 and I really like The next class.
