Degrassi has to be one of the longest running shows on television. It just keeps going on and on. I'm an adult and I still love this show. It goes where no other tv show dares to go.

seeing the two protagonist Aislin Paul and Miriam Mcdonald was awesome

I’m honestly so devastated that they stopped with a cliffhanger. It’s been almost 4 years since season 4 of next class came out. Like what happens with everyone that would be in senior year?

I saw Dylan and got super happy, because even tho cam is gone it still makes me happy to see Dylan is alive and healthy you know?

okay but seeing actors from s1 of tng make me tear up. they are the real og's.

I never want this show to end! It's so amazing! I wish I could be a part of the show

Ikr! I’ve watched all of the eras from the 80s to 2000’s sad to see them not in production anymore

*Every time I hear this song, I can't help but cry. This show was a part of such a critical point of my life. When it ended it was truly the end of an era. This was also my senior song! The end of this show happened at the same time I graduated high school so it was like two chapters ending. Gives me chills every time. I still miss this show.* ❤

I remember hearing about this show back in like 2011/2012 and people telling me that it was dumb and without even watching, I instantly agreed although I had seen small moments when flipping through the channel on TV from time to time. One day, I sat down and decided to watch a few episodes and when I tell you that I was immediately hooked after that, I couldn't stop. I watched Degrassi all the way from season 11 to 14 and once I finished, I discovered the much older seasons and restarted all the way from season 1. I fell in love and to this day, It's my favorite show and I've seen every season like a million times lol

I wished Degrassi continued. I watched it from the beginning back in the 80's. Loved the show and all the characters

When I think of this song, I think of Glee's finale when the sang "I Lived". Going to miss the seniors after they leave but I can't wait for season 15 on Netflix! :D

Degrassi has gone down hill on Netflix tho☹

I literally cried when the cast was speaking but they grew up with us and they watch us grow.

Looking at this makes me cry bc they discontinued the show like degrassi means so much to bc like munro said we grew up with them and the show just goes there and hits home UGH I love this show I will always binge all the seasons when I miss it

While the promo says that this is a series finale event, this isn't the last of Degrassi. Degrassi will only be ending its time on TeenNick and MTV. It will return in early 2016 on Family Channel in Canada and Netflix worldwide, excluding Australia, France, and Canada, where the series will be on Netflix at a later date.

syncta4 the reason why TeenNick is calling it a series finale it because Degrassi: Next Class is consider to be a new series and not part of Degrassi: The Next Generation era according to Stephen Stohn. Originally season 15 is mainly Season 1 of DNC.

Peter Kontorovich No, Degrassi: The Next Generation series is ending. Degrassi: Next Class, which is a new series, will be on Netflix worldwide and Family Channel in Canada. Next Class will continue where The Next Generation starts off with Maya, Zig, Tristan, Miles, Frankie, and the rest of the characters that aren't graduating at the end of season 14 or have already graduated.

I remember seeing this during the season 14 finale and bawling my eyes out

This always reminds me when Glee ended cause this song was the last song on Glee I used to watch Degrassi with my mom in like middle school then forgot about it then I was on Netflix and saw that Degrassi: NC was on there and got back into the show now I want to go back and watch TNG

can't believe that degrassi will never come back ended in 2017 can't believe it they sold the degrassi set will always have a special place in my heart ❤

Yes, while the show isn't ending for good, this appears to be much like when TNG began and how that was "a new show." But, I'm excited. The show needed new life brought to it and I am anxious to see how "Next Class" is on Netflix.

i'll say this i started watching degrassi when it was degrassi high up until the last season of degrassi the next generation and then degrassi the new class and this show as proved that it goes there i've watched the shooting of jimmy to the pregnancy of manny i've seen it all and there were so many stories that i saw and made me say i've been through them rape i've been raped i've had to deal with bipolar disorder to trying to committ suicide i've been through it this show has touched my heart when they killed off jt when they killed off adam whem cam committed suicide it touched me when i saw the finale episode watching the entire cast tell their stories on how this show has changed them for the better i'm going to miss this show and i hope every teenager out there go back and watch this show if there's an issue like coming out to your parents this show will help you do that thank you for being there for me when i needed it the most
