A practice at mixing my best skills in LMMS (music/sound synthesis), Krita (Digital art) and Speculative Evolution. Wind passes through leaves and grassblades, and a Fortaliva vocalizes, shaking the ground with its booming calls for herd mates.
I want to include footstep noises from the Fortaliva later, and maybe some other Deglonian animals.
Fortalivas are megafauna, adults of the species in this painting can get up to 20 meters long. Many Fortalivas carry large, flexible, and change resistant tree species on their back, due to the habit of Fortalivas of migrating along whole continents for greener (redder and oranger?) pastures.
The Fortalivas have a symbiotic relationship with the species that grow on their soft backs. They trade nutrients and sugars with plants for wide dispersal of seeds in freshly grazed spots. And they trade small animals' protection for them cleaning parasites off.
