Some reason I’ve been listening to this, Digital Bath, and Minerva this last week on repeat.

Even though i am a Deftones fan, i can honestly say this is easily their best album. To have this song as the intro to the album was genious because this song is so passionate and catchy, which puts the listener in a perfect mood. When this song came out and I first heard it in the warehouse at my work, I literally stopped what I was doing because I had chills and was completely mesmerized by the overdrive on that guitar. That sound... holy shit, that sound. I imagine I felt the same way that many did back in 1969, as they eagerly watched their televisions while Armstrong took the first step on the moon. I was like, "They did it! Someone finally found the perfect sound!" lol

My favorite Deftones song, and probably one of my top 10 favorite songs of all time. There's an atmosphere here that literally nobody else can create...the only word I know to describe it is "cosmic".

I usually stay away from videos because I don't like them to ruin my mental images when I listen to music but this one matches my own and expands on it. I'm out of amazing things to say for an amazing band that I've listened to for 17 years, and all I can say is "Deftones".

Been listening to Deftones since 2009. And seen them live as well in 2011-2012. Definitely still better than bands nowadays.

15 years later this whole album is still a GOATed banger! 😮

I bought Lamb of God's most recent album when it first came out and remember thinking Chino's guest vocals on Embers was the best part of the whole album, so here I am, trying to get into the band :D lol. RIP Chi for sure but Chi didn't actually die when this album was made. This album came out 2010 and he died in 2013 I believe. However this album definitely is their most uplifting for sure because of Chi's uncertain state at the time. One love for Chi

Timeless band. Never been another band that can actually give each song a texture you can actually feel the songs with more than your hearing. Absolutely great song writing.

Been jamming Deftones since adrenaline, they consistently release stellar albums. Just pop one in and let the entire thing play without skipping a song. That's good fuckin music.

In some twisted way, the lyrics to this song foreshadowed the band mourning Chi's unfortunate passing! R.I.P. Chi Cheng!
