Sir,. I have doubt rearding what to do with my appraisal and colleagues. Related like office politics. For sales team increment, grade change all is getting without any presuure. Just first manager approves, senior manager and his manager approves without any doubt. No need for years of service. But for accounts dept very partiality is happening. No grade change for employees. No increment more than 700 rs. A year. Even work 10 years. Our manager recomend for promotion. Senior manager rejects saying cost controlling. Etc. And if you want grade change. Change to profile, or change the company. Pls advice with help

Hi Vaishakh, Performance Appraisal process will vary from company to company. It's all depends on HR policies. In your case, if senior manager is rejecting your promotion process by saying cost controlling etc. then please appeal to his/her superiors or department head of HR. You have to make sure that you will have your KRA and KPI sheet ready along with your overall contribution to the organization in these years. Your key strength is your Loyalty towards the organization. You need to have a face to face discussion with them. And regarding office politics, you have to bear because it is everywhere. For Job Rotation kindly have a word with your HR department. Hope it will help you.
