Defining Ready and Done: Agile Essentials

Фильм және анимация

In Scrum and any other framework based on Agile approach, we need a clear and mutually agreed definition on what constitutes a Ready scope item to go into the development cycle and what criteria needs to be met to consider it Done.
The Definition of Ready defines the criteria that a specific user story has to meet before being considered for estimation or inclusion into a sprint, It is the checklist of what needs to be done to a product backlog item before the team can start implementing it in the next sprint.
At the end of the sprint, the team will invite the stakeholders to the sprint review to show them the completed user stories, these completed user stories should fulfill the Definition of Done, a checklist that defines when a user story is considered “done”.
