Exactly my thinking, like why would you even mention that they’re propaganda sources if you’re trying to make him look bad? It’s almost like Banks was reading straight off the script his staff wrote for him
3 days the chain of command was non existant. The deputy was on vacation and he was AWOL. 3 days of reports and orders left on his desk and no action. 3 days no POTUS orders reaching US forces or reports reaching POTUS from our troops. In prior wars he would have faced a fireing squad not facing calls for his fireing.
what does afghanistan have to do with this..? what a weird ass question..

PT standards apply to troops, not the civilian part of the command. Regardless he sent a deputy on vaccation and went AWOL breaking the entire chain of command between POTUS and the Troops for 3 days. His aides should have stepped in until contact could bridge the missing links in the chain in such a event as a death etc. He had a duty to inform both ends as he was going in to bypass him while he was out. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs to POTUS direct or Branch Secetaries to POTUS direct. Much as Under Secetary T. Roosevelt took charge while the SECNAV was out of town starting our response to the Maine. Here however those who was in theory in charge had no idea they were.
