Tbh i think there is room for a baseline survivor, I would of preferred a Wilson rework that would still be in that vein. But I still need to try reworked Wilson to have an opinion on that tbh

@@nerdcuddles7731 but he is even before he wasn't just a blank character, his beard made him easier for beginners to figure out winter and now it's not like he has actual powers, he has a progression system. most beginners will survive a day, maybe two while they're still figuring out the game and have no knowledge to draw from(at least if they're not watching a guide) and even now, all his powers are made towards beginners. longer torches mean you can explore more, bigger radius means you're more aware of your surroundings, being able to throw it means you're not spending that much on campfires(at least my first instinct when I started playing the game back at the rain patch was to do that, not burn a tree) whenever you need to chop/mine. his beard perks all make winter easier(when I survived my first 20 days what happened was that I died because I didn't fully understand how to keep warm, but having the beard did help me stay alive for a few days longer). OH and extra inventory means you're being more forgiven because of bad inventory management (which is a skill on it's own) hell, even his conversion powers, the meat ones for a beginner aren't that great. but while you're figuring out magic you don't really know how to get some specific gem and again, most important of all is that all(aside from your beard growing and getting inventory) of these are tied to progression: survive a few days and you'll be rewarded. the character gets better as you get better yourself and his more advanced perks just make him a better character for advanced players who can still just turn it all off, mind you

ikr, i return to him often because putting up with other survivors can be such a hassle sometimes but recently, i've been playing Maxwell the tedium of collection disappears, which makes it hard to want to play anyone else

Winona is missing but actually for her we can have two project : the classic « all bosses Winona » but also maybe a real world (maybe not as long as the trill of the grill of jazzy) were you can show wich character can be used for wich boss by using the portal. It would be cool to see the evolution like year one you struggle to beat some bosses (but with mister mic man you gonna be allright) and the 2nd encounter you change character and kill the boss with ease

With each video the editing just gets exponentially better.

These videos are very entertaining. I have a question though, why do you keep the Ice staffs on 10% during the crab king fight instead of just using them up? I'm guessing it might be because it would mess up your inventory organization but I'm curious. I mean I doubt you deconstruct them after to get a spear back.

So freezing crab king before he punches holes in your boat requires good timing to get good dps and actually freeze him in time, so if I lag or mess up a switch between 3 10% ice staffs, that could cost 1-2 seconds extra and cause crab king's geyser attack to go off which basically ends the fight

Can you play as walter next? He seems really interesting, he gets a free chester and beefalo. (feeding 3 monster meat to woby) He takes more damage from bees, and he only looses sanity from damage.
