What a word! Drowning in depression and anxiety at the beginning of the pandemic in our country, out of sheer desperation, I took out my Bible amd wrote down verses that spoke about God's faithfulness. Bit by bit, I got out of that pit. The year may not have gone how I wanted it to go, but man, the relationship with God that has been revived makes me see the year 2020 as one of rhe most important years of my life.

It's truly amazing how quickly God will come to you with help, I have been struggling with my negative thoughts for a long time. Hi Matthew, I was watching this video and just had to pause it to reply to you. Even though you wrote this two years ago, I don’t know you or if you’re still struggling with these thoughts, but I just wanted to tell you that those thoughts are not of your own, they belong to the enemy and I hope that during these two years you figured that out already. I pray against all evil thoughts, all negativity, anxiety, fear and stress, I pray that it trembles beneath your feet as you bare your cross and run the good race God had set before you. I pray Gods perfect peace be upon your mind and heart. … Its important to what you allow yourself to take in, such as TV shows music and the people you surround yourself with, you should start your mornings off by a prayer to God and just go and seek Him in your Bible. I'm just now watching this in 2022. It's been the hardest 2 years of my life and I'm really praying my way back to God. I've tried to stay in church, but when you are being hit over and over by circumstances in life, it is hard to feel His presence. I'm thankful for this channel and remembering that God has a plan, that I can give Him control and He will help me. I'm looking forward to the next stages in my life, as God brings me through the hard times and shows me what He has for me and my family! I've been having really hard times to fight against all these negative thoughts inside my head. I'm weak and i don't even know how to pray, i can't do this alone. Everytime i tried to not think about it ,it would always come up. These thoughts won't leave me alone even while i was praying, it always pops up. It distracts me from praying. Ihad a career for 18 years, as a Certified Medical Coder. In a flash it was gone. However; I never gave up because I have been a fighter since I was very young. I get knocked down but I get right back up and keep fighting with God's help. I didn't give up. I am. Goingto FSCJ to get a higher Degree. Only need 12 Credits. I Praise God for that. I still have disabilities, but can still work 25 hours a week . But I keep praying and have faith, that I will succeed!

I love this video so much! I am a 14 year old girl. I struggled with suicidal thoughts starting in fifth grade going up to January of this year. My family and I are pretty sure that I struggle with depression. It has gotten kinda of hard and I am under attack constantly literally never having any breaks. One thing I have been praying about a lot is my mindset. I have been on more of the pessimistic side when looking at my life the weird thing is I tend to be optimistic when I look at the life of other people. I can give great advice to other people but never to myself. So definitely working with God right now to try and grow as a Christian.

I really had the desire so bad to get married and start a family in my early life like my other family/relatives.I could not find a true, godly, faithful man throughout the years. I wouldn't settle for less but it was hard and I had felt like I was in despair at times. I stayed living alone until marriage because I refused to live with a man who wasn't interested in marriage they just wanted convenience of a woman. I didn't get married until I was 40 and I thank God I waited. It's a challenge to have children though,still trying, I still trust God. I thank God what didn't happen in my early life if I would have remained in noncommittal, toxic relationships and not putting a child in a bad situation for selfish reasons 🙏. I believe it's by his (God) grace we are saved. Thank you for this message Pastor.🙏😇

This was amazing!! I just want to thank God for Pastor Craig’s life and how He is using you!! God is so good!! The mind often gets put to the side as if we shouldn’t do anything about the bad things that goes on in our mind etc. But the Word of God constantly reminds us to renew our minds, for us to focus on Him and everything that is of Him!! God is amazing!

Pastor Craig that is true. Since I had traumatic Brain injury, I have no filter. So I pray a lot. Now I am okay with a filtro. However; I must wait to respond .

I am a huge control freak, I fear what’s not in my control because if it’s in my control I assure myself nothing can go wrong. But things already do go wrong and that’s my faith. I put my faith aside to please myself and that’s the darndest thing anyone can ever do to themselves. No more will I self inflict harm but will build like legos a beautiful life with Christ Jesus as head and me below because that is true living. Thank you LORD for blessing this pastor and enabling me to take life altering notes. Thank you for being patient with a child like me who is lost knowingly and even more lost on how to get y lost. I’ll follow your light in the night and seek you daily. Thank you Life church one of the only church’s I haven’t fallen victim to sleep.

Summary guy here Re-framing = change your perspective to change your thinking How to re-frame: 1. Thank God for what didn't happrn - it could have been a lot worse 2. Practice Pre-framing - think/expect of the most positive/peaceful/holy outcome 3. Look for God's goodness - Apostle Paul was arrested despite wanting to preach in Rome, but God allowed Paul to preach to multiple roman guards and it made the brothers and sisters proclaim gospel without fear and have confidence in the Lord. Hope this helps someone!
