My question is in the game can you detonate the warheads in space to cause an emp wave to knock out all opposing comm satellites as well as ground based communication's and power as long as the devices in question are not specifically hardened for emp I figured what would be more beautiful than the Aurora Borealis above idk how about Brazil or even Uganda obviously the Aurora should not be that far south near the damn equator freak em out and give all the people of the world a pretty show before they are vaporized and their shadows blasted into the ground

I would consider an EMP strike as almost a deadly as a nuclear stike. An EMP blast would disable military infrastructure, not to mention civilian infrastructure.

As a person who had read lots of was history and strategy, I agree this is just a game. There are lots of other elements that can influence a clash like this. Control of information is one of them (such a sudden attack requires perfect maskirovka - russians are good at it but still...), then there is the economical base of it (at the actual rate, Russia's economy will crash in case of an innitiative like this - they simply do not have the money to ensure military development as fast as their actual resources parrish in the clash). Then there is popular support - how can you sell an action like this to your own people? What do you say? Then there is the strategic position - Russia and China are sitting in the middle of allied forces with no real acces at warm waters. Why do you think Russia wants the coast-line of Siria and China wants larger access to Pacific (including their "false islands" and their debate with Japan on those islands..)? They know that when it would come to it, they will face a blocade and they will not have the means to resupply with anything outside their own borders.

69DangerousD They did hit back, when I launched attacks from my aircraft carriers they sent out fighters to take out my strategic bombers. When the AI launched all of its nukes at me I blew the shit out of all its its silos to leave it defenceless against retaliatory strike.
