What’s crazy is this almost happened in the 80’s. The Soviets detected a launch from the US and orders came down to launch all their missiles. The commander on duty was skeptical and instead of blindly following the order he investigated and found out it was just a glitch in the computer. It wasn’t until the fall of the Soviet Union until the west learned of the story.

A terrible miracle. WW3. You don´t feel a thing while living in a city bombed by a nuke. You just hear de blast and die instantly according to the center of the explosion. Great meditating music in a game so far, the real reason to play it.

Interestingly it was fully possible for a lot of people to survive depending on circumstances. Especially if you were in cover. A good example is the testing of the British nuke in the Australian outback. They wanted to see the effects of a tank so they nuked an old Centurion tank by positioning it about 300 meters from the point of detonation. The tank survived with its engines running with the only damage being that its paint from a certain direction was sand blasted off and the over pressure ripped open the panels while the antennae etc were torn off. Get further away with a sufficiently protected and sealed location and your odds of survivability skyrocket.

There's an extremely realistic game, unlike this game, it's called icbm, you actually have to research and build your technology and weapons. You don't just immediately get nuclear missiles, aircraft, ships, ect. You have to build up your technology and place radar systems to increase your seeing range and you can also use satellites. You can also form alliances in that game. There's also a world destruction thing that once it reaches 100% it's game over. I recommend you guys to try it out.
