The vocals are phenomenal--carrying this composition to new stratospheres. The vocal resonance with the guitar and bass tones especially reverberate, and have an amazing, very rare sounding quality. Almost reminds me of some aspects of the Gregorian chants that they used in the Alice In Chains records, especially "Rooster", and the chorus/intro part of "Anger Rising" from Jerry Cantrell's solo work. Very cool stuff!

"Well, don't deny The hand that feeds you, needs you" I was about to mention that the clear, clean visuals reminded me of the industrial corporate rigid high tech of the Nine Inch Nails logo, merchandise, and music videos released around the With Teeth and Year Zero album cycles! "The Hand That Feeds" is a standout single, especially with that lyric. Those albums were likely released after this Default record, though. Awkward, but a really cool and interesting, amazing connection between the two songs that will have me poring over the Default discography under a new light/perspective. 😮

The fight scenes in this video look like a much more palatable version of the fighting footage in Seether's "Truth" video. Better/cleaner, crisper production/shooting value, too. I'm almost certain that the Seether visual was intended to convey a comparatively 'grittier' aesthetic, but even still. It just looks so much more professional, and more respectfully done.

Had those Adidas back in the day.
Today I woke up and you were gone The whole day wondering what I did wrong It's like I'm falling from a, a mountaintop My heart keeps pounding and it won't stop Can you see this, hell I'm leaving? I'm not giving up Will you crawl to me? Will you fall with me? I'll never crawl to you I've done it all for you Well, don't deny The hand that feeds you, needs you (Don't deny) Oh God I'd die to try to Finally please you There goes a piece of me Will I cease to be? I've never lied to you Fought, bled and died for you Well, don't deny The hand that takes you, breaks you (Don't deny) Oh God I'd died to try to Finally please you There she goes, I'm on the ground I'm on the ground, (I'm on the ground) There she goes, I'm on the ground I'm on the ground, I'm on the There she goes and I'm on the ground I'm on the ground, I'm on the There she goes and I'm on the ground I'm on the ground, I'm on the Well, don't deny The hand that feeds you, needs you (There she goes) Oh God I'd die to try to Finally please you Will you crawl to me? Will you fall with me? the reason for the low amount of views is the bassist, people tend to avoid guys with pig tails
