Where have the good rock bands gone? While finding a new modern rock band on commercial radio is relegated to a very few good rock stations, Shallow Side refuses to accept the idea that rock music is dead. This is one band that will not bow down to Pop Music, Rap Music, Heavy Metal or Classic Rock music.
If you’ve been anywhere near an active rock radio station or Sirius/XM Octane in the last couple years, then you’ve probably heard of Shallow Side.
Shallow Side is a powerful Rock Band is fueled by raw vocals, soul pounding drums, dark sexual energy and five magnetically infectious personalities. Calling Cullman, Alabama home, their songs represent the sound that is the modern rock music, the recipe of internal struggles mixed with relationship problems and life's let downs in general are mixed with hope and the faith this is not all life is meant to be and from the ashes we all have a chance to rise.
To prove it, the new young rock band has just landed a major sponsor in the form of Number JUAN Tequila® after they prevailed out of over 200 bands on the Lex and Terry® Radio Network Music Movement to garner some major national rock music attention.
Number Juan Tequila® is owned by comedians Ron White, Blue Comedy Bad Boy and Alex Reymundo, who was one of he original Latino Kings of Comedy. Their decision to sponsor Shallow Side speaks to their desire to support talented artists. When White and Reymundo heard Shallow Side they were blown away and used their jaugernaut tequila company to help the young band.
The challenge for bands of any genre, like rock music, pop music, heavy metal music or classic rock music in the 21st century is to be heard. The days of radio play are practically over and rock bands particularly suffer from a lack of any recognition. New Rock Music Bands like Shallow Side rely on word of mouth and social media to build an audience and following. The way they achieve either of those is to tour and play their rock music live. Some dates pay better than others. Which is why sponsorships like this one are so important.

I was just a kid when this song first dropped in the late 1970’s. This is a very solid cover! I just wish other artists from other genres of the music spectrum cover the music of Styx.

As a former LEO and current bounty hunter, this song plays quite a bit when we're about to go on a bust... the one thing I'd change in the vid is instead of police exiting the vehicle, bounty hunters... after all, the song is referencing hunters on the way to take the man in... but otherwise, incredible song, incredible job and looking forward to seeing you guys live!

Every time I watch this video I think "Damn, these guys are so incredibly talented." This song is from my era. Didn't particularly love it a lot when it was released. Your remake though, from a girl who generally dislikes covers, is stellar.
