Nice jam from back in the day! What I like about this video is that the man didn't go for the half-naked girl w/ hair down to her waist - but for the cute, brown-skinned sista w/ the bomb-ass haircut. And you don't see Dee Barnes gyrating all over the place & "making her butt clap" & all the stripper-nastiness that counts as "dance" these days - she and Def Jef are just having nice, "clean" fun dancing at various L.A. spots. Fun video!

Fab 5 Freddie hosting YoMtv raps!! Time has flew by, great memories
The sweet memories...I rocked that hairstyle the girl is wearing....Go Jef!!!!
Dee Barnes wasn't just the girl who got beat up by Dre, like some here like to identify her. She was 1/2 of the female hip-hop duo Body with Almight T (They were label mates with Def Jef on Delicious Vinyl) , and the host of the classic hip hop show Pump It Up.
I've been looking for this video. This was the jam. Thanks for the upload.
This was my jam in 1988-1989 5th grade year
Nice jam from back in the day! What I like about this video is that the man didn't go for the half-naked girl w/ hair down to her waist - but for the cute, brown-skinned sista w/ the bomb-ass haircut. And you don't see Dee Barnes gyrating all over the place & "making her butt clap" & all the stripper-nastiness that counts as "dance" these days - she and Def Jef are just having nice, "clean" fun dancing at various L.A. spots. Fun video!
I Remember this as a kid lol
OMG!! ..I was trying so hard to find this ..FINALLY!!!
This took me back 20 years!

Jef F Oh wow thanks for calirication. Everybody who went to Kennedy claims you went there lol. I always thought it was a rumor and never heard you even lived in the DMV until I remember watching that Rapamania PPV and when they introduced you they said you worked at the post office in DC so then I knew you had some local ties.

Jef F Also were you the reason Dee Barnes used Trouble Funk on her song? I know you produced for her and always wanted to know how and why she got Trouble on a song.
Droppin rhymes on drums by jef 20 years ago is still better than 99% of the stuff these days.
Oh, to go back to '89/'90...
Aaaahhhhhh....used to slide this tape in gettin ready for school in '88 and wake up the neighbors!!!...LOL

That's ironic, as this song has a great New Jack Swing sound

Def Jef was def
MAN THESE WERE THE DAYS, AND THE DANCING WAS THE BEST AT THE TIME FOR A MUSIC VIDEO 👍🔥🔥🔥 K C FLIGHT ANYONE👌🎤🎛️🔊
i fucking love the second verse. def jef's lyrics crack me up. he can tell a woman "buy you what? you better keep your mouth shut" that shit is genious and he says it in a way that is somehow reasonable. he's basicly talking about prostitution, you give me sex and i'll give you cash or buy you shit. but it some how dosen't sound bad to me. it sounds realy right. god bless def jef.
"You think im gonna take advice from sum1 who slapped Dee BARNES?" -Eminem
Oooooo..i like this picture this BASED.,.
Good ole days!
good ol days right there.
It's nice to see all the females in this video completely dressed!
oh man this was my jam.. nothing like singing give it here , dont start fronting just give it here to a chic..
I looked this up after listening to the outro of Naughty By Nature's "Everyday All Day"
Please continue to pay this man Shock G No That was our time. Now Give it up to Dej Jeff Quit in. The face👀rap game, love to meet you . Nope..,, da did ent..,,,,
Old school at it finish
Back when even chubby black dudes could dance and wasn't afraid to because being cool was better than being hard. And sistahs looked sexy even when they were fully dressed. GODDAMN I'm old.
I really wish I could find the video version of this song on a CD or vinyl release. The single and album both lack a few vocals on the chorus. Anyone know if it was ever released?
Ha ha ha !!! is that my peaches @ 0:32. wow those was the days... this is better then 75% of the bs on the radio today in 2008 sooo sad
WORD!!
Ahhh memories
