DEEPWATER PERCH fishing in November | Best perch fishing rig for now | Perch fishing tips and tricks

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Good day, everyone!
The question of finding perch in a deep water is quite difficult since you can't do it without any device as sonar or at least without good knowledge of a certain location. Deepwater perch fishing is exciting especially in the fall when they migrate from shallow parts to those 20-30 feet deep, generally because of minnows migration, but also because of the water temperature, which gets lower every single day in November.
As far as the best perch fishing rig the long leader finished by a single hook with a soft plastic worm and lead weight situated 2 or 3 feet above seems for me the best option. There are some warmer days when perch actively takes tail spinner or classical jig head, however slowly moving "creatures" are preferable.

Fishing on such a deep water requires sonar for 100%, especially when we're talking about perch fishing during cold months. Or you should know the area very well.

Oh man, the boat and sonar are must-have for perch fishing on such a large water reservoir.

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. I use usually quite stiff rods for sander fishing with 10 to 40 grams casting weight. The weight of drop-shot itself depends very much on the depth, however usually 10 to 15 grams is enough.
