I got a deeper start 2 weeks ago. So far I have definitely learned new stuff about the lake I fish at. It indicates fish but sometimes it shows fish 1 foot deep close to the bank and I didn't see any fish

My guess is that maybe in real shallow area like less than 2 feet it gets interference.

That is awesome, glad your having a good experience!! And for the reading, it won't read less then 2 feet. It is to shallow for the device, even for the pro and pro pluses. Anywhere above 2 feet it will scan perfect. Usually like 2 and half feet it will scan. But not below that, which is why your getting that reading. Hope that helps bud

Hi great video mate! Brought one last night can’t wait to use it at the weekend! Be able to see what I’m fishing into on my local lake and be interesting to see if the fish are right at the bottom on the lake bed! If they are il just stick at the bottom a simple in line lead with a pop up

Is it a orange bar on the bottom of the screen when your like scanning? Usually is the lake bottom. Brighter orange for harder bottom

Why cant you use em off a kayak? I just bought one for my kayak. Tie it off the back with a 3ft lead to tow it.

That is awesome! Hope it works out good for you. Honestly, i did this review awhile ago so I actually kinda forgot. But I think they have had updates and stuff like that for this model that made it run better and added features for it to be used on yaks and stuff. Hope you enjoy yours!!

@@madmattfishing iv just got one From Amazon Because of your review what's your thoughts on using it on tidal waters sea fishing on the coastal a lot of people are saying it gives false readings for fish what's your thoughts on that

Hey bud. I dont have any experience with it in the ocean as iv never been sea fishing before. So I don't have any input on that. I could maybe see the big waves out there could effect that, but I'm not sure. I'm from Illinois so I just have experiences with lakes and rivers . Sorry I couldn't be more help for you

How Long Does it stay charged?

All depends on how long u leave it in the water. Usually what I do is after I mark something I like and find some fish. I'll take it out and start fishing. And then scan again after or whatever. Usually one charge would last me a trip. I'd say 4-6 hour run time on it. I keep it in the water for about 5 min at a time

I have never had false readings with it while iv been using it yet. Its performed very well. Only time I'd get a bad reading is if the device got reeled over a patch of grass of some sort that blocked the signal. Me myself have not seen a false reading on my outings
