I have fished the Gulf of Mexico all my life, used many different boat “fish” sonar devices over the last 25 years. Owned over 10 different power boats. I’m experienced! I purchased the Deeper Chirp model from Academy sports about January 2020 . I have moved inland about 4 years ago and now fish fresh water from the bank or in a small aluminum boat. I’ve followed the directions, made all the suggested setting changes. It doesn’t work very well at all. I wish I could get my money back! I think these many (not all) reviewers are bogus!

Damn, that is not at all the final review I was hoping to hear from you. What device would you recommend then for shore fishing inland? I just got their new flagship model, Deeper Chirp 2+, for however many chances I have left to fish with my dad before it gets cold this year since we tend to get skunked the few times we do get to go out but after just receiving it, I’m starting to get worried I might’ve just bought into hype and wasted a boatload of money (for me).

I have the Lowrance version of this and I want to cast it. What power and action is that rod you have it on? Heavy/fast? MH/Fast. Thanks for the video!

Gah I've got to get something like that! Have you ever used or know of the LuckyLaker portable one? They're super cheap but at 40 bucks, if they're pretty decent, seems like a good option. Especially for those of us who can't drop a couple hundred bucks on a really good one. I found a couple "reviews" but as someone stated before they don't really go in depth like one of your videos. I really enjoyed the vids because you always make sure to break down everything You're doing to catch fish... From Lures to the combos used and the techniques you use. Even gear reviews you go deeper into the how to portion as well as how good it works or doesn't. Keep em coming brother

Funny how I'm here to help decide if I should buy a deeper and see some fishing but the first thing that caught my attention was your spoiler and the color of it then your seats and door cards ... then the rumble lol tight lines bud

Harbor Freight has a pretty fast R/C boat for about $50 that you could attach it too to & drag it around the water as well.

Where I fish northerns over to eat bobbers, I would hate to lose that in in on bite.

Just got mine last night.. headed out to a pond now.

I didn’t check the actual weight, it seems pretty heavy so I was easy with my swings on the cast but it wasn’t very difficult. I also had it on a 6’10” MH so if I had it on a sturdier rod it Probly would have been better

So quick question would this be better than the garmin Striker cast?

I haven’t seen the Garmin Striker Cast. Garmin makes a great product though and if they have a castable sonar I wouldn’t doubt it’s very good

I haven’t used it a whole lot and need to take them back out for some bank fishing work! It will probably come in very handy during the summer heat when the bass are hard to locate out deep midday

You don’t have to be on WiFi to use it, but you connect through the WiFi setting on your phone

Nice bro! I got the Ibobber myself its not as nice but it works. BTW the academy near me was out of dragon drops but I got what I need to rig the drop shot and play with it.

Dude, they have kits from 90 bucks. Go to their website. This tech has been around a bit, too. Garmin, Lowrance, Humminbird, and others are in on it too. This company is in Lithuania, if that helps you decide.
