You've been one of my favorite narrators since you popped on the scene, my dude. There are a lot of horror narrators on KZread but only a few of them have the perfect combo of stories, style, and voice to make it work. Seeing you collab with Being Scared and Let's Read makes me SO happy, because those guys are the real deal and I love seeing you three in one video together. The best. Keep up the amazing work!

44:00 - "usually alone because my friends don't share my aspirations" - here, here I can completely relate. I usually hike alone in backwoods remote areas alone because no one wants to go. My parents get very scared (can't blame them) and others chastise it and ask why and the answer is easy - because NO ONE wants to go. They'd rather stay home and watch tv - cripes, what a life. I'm happy to explore our world before I'm no longer a part of it and believe me time passes quickly.

Be smart and get something to protect urself or if u run up on someone getting mugged u can help them, I can't image how many people saw a girl or someone getting raped or beaten or kidnapped but hid and didn't do anything and definitely didn't say anything because they were so ashamed if themselves but would do the same thing again if it happened

That's not true actually. Typically the prey animals will alert each other when a predator shows up. I've spent years in the woods and I always know when a predator is nearby. The squirrels start chattering and deer will blow to alert each other.

Great episode. I mostly liked the 1st story and the one about the 'ghost woman in the woods'. Excellent quality sound and visuals. Some of the backing sound tracks remind me of the soundtrack from 'Angelheart' (a movie from the late 80s). I'm going to have a browse through the rest of your channel now. Top Quality.

The Lady of the Woods story was really fascinating to me and honestly it's probably a good thing her wearing all white scared the kids away because if you try to wake a sleep walker they could react violently because the unconscious mind perceives the person trying to wake them as a threat trying to attack them and while unconscious there is nothing holding them back from using their full strength. People have unintentionally murdered concerned family members or neighbors who approached them while sleep walking. There's lots of stories about spooky things happening when you try to wake a sleep walker ig as a way to deter people from trying but none of the stories are scarier than the truth of "this person is not conscious and not in control of themselves meaning they can and will attack you without mercy if you seem like a threat"

the woods going quiet is an absolutely natural and harmless thing small animals like birds rodents and rabbits tend to hide when they become aware of what they see as threat when they us humans they see us as a threat so they hide and be quite untill we pass next time your in the woods and they go quiet hide some place and wait youll hear all the noises come back and youll never see a large predator because we were the predator that scared the little critters in the woods

Ah, I remember my times in the NC Piedmont very well. My grandparents had an old Civil War Era farmhouse off NC-601 in Surry County. Behind us was some rather deep woods. I used to ride an enduro motorcycle back in those woods with Grandpa’s blessing but with dire warnings to head back home before it even STARTS to get dark. As you can imagine, this then 14-year old got carried away and wasn’t mindful of the impending twilight. Now I’m sure it wasn’t “haints” or cryptids I dealt with that evening. There were far too many easily explained entities-jail escapees, poachers, moonshiners, and perhaps even your average run of the mill child molesters. When I heard voices and movement, these were the things I immediately thought of, and got the devil out of their PDQ! Never stayed that late again.

the girl in the middle of the woods story is certainly odd im thinking the writer may have been to close to meth lab or marijuana field and the people were just trying to scare him off without actually killing him as that would draw a lot of attention and lead to the discovery of the operation or whatever if something like that was the case couldve been a flop house hidden somewhere a home less camp possibly stolen goods being stored out there the possibilitys are quite numerous maybe the writer should go back and investigate and update us

I’m not into ambience,, as I prefer the nice of a busy city to relax me. I need police siren’s and traffic. The one exception, entrees when I purchased the PS3 Limited Release console for Metal Gear Solid 4. It took me a few days to start the game. The splash screen Music was so haunting and ethereal, that it was incredibly soothing. I slept to it quite often. It’s one of the first game intros I’d even found on KZread, once KZread expanded what they would air.
