@@BoozeandBoos Good response. 👍 LMAOOOO.
30 years ago I moved from upstate NY to TN. I got a job at a furniture factory that was about 30 miles away and over a steep mountain road. Almost right away a nice, sweet lady who worked there and lived near the town I lived in came and asked me if she could ride to work with me. Seems her husband told her to ask "that Yankee woman for a ride, because those Yankees know how to drive in the snowy weather". I had to laugh, but he was absolutely right. Miss Peggy was petrified to drive in the snow and I'm glad they had that much faith in me. I always got her home safely.

Winter driving is always terrifying. I have an AWD SUV and it's usually great, but not in extremely slick conditions such as ice. A couple weeks back I hit a patch of ice on roads that were otherwise fine and quickly lost control and ended up in a farmer's field. Luckily for me it hadn't yet snowed, so I just drove back onto the road, but boy did it shake me up!

You can have 4WD and the best snow tires in existence, if you hit ice, none of it will matter.

For those of us who could do without the cold weather months, these stories are true horror! I remember getting a call one night when i lived on a mountain in a far northern state which had deep snow for months of the year. Someone who'd been plowing the steep narrow road that served as our driveway needed a jump at the base of the mountain. Little else could have gotten me to drive down that night as i never risked it alone during the winter. There were steep ravines beside portions of the twisty road. Things went fine until i got to the last and steepest stretch, when my Expedition began an uncontrolled & rapid slide downhill towards the large plow truck directly in the road at the base of the mountain! There was no way to brake and at nearly the last moment, i managed to turn my vehicle to plow right into a snowdrift off the road, which managed to stop the uncontrolled slide as well as preventing an accident. Probably kept from totaling my vehicle and possibly saving my life. Meanwhile, i moved to a southern state. :)

Bless your heart. I'm SO glad you made it out of that ok. And equally glad you don't have to deal with that ever again. It might get hotter than hell, here in Texas but it's a very rare thing that we have weather that bad. Maybe once or twice every 20 years or so. Stay safe, thinking about you... from Texas.
I can totally agree that time slows down when you are almost crashing at high speed on ice. Two seconds, can feel like ten. What the brain is capable of in dangerous situations, feels insane

This is why homophobia is dangerous and not just someone's "beliefs". The man ended his son's life without a second thought over it. Imagine having that much hate in your heart

Having that much hate in your heart would seem to me like an early death, due to the amount of unnecessary stresses that you are putting yourself through. But unfortunately the hatred seems to keep people alive, as in too stubborn to die. And I totally disagree that organized religions are breeding the hatred. That’s just silly. What do I know, though? I’m just trying to understand why people think it’s okay to jump to conclusions. Why these same people think it’s okay to belittle and judge others for their own personal beliefs such as their religious beliefs or sexual preference.

His stories were better before (he had excellent standards which was why I subbed- best of all the chans- at LEAST Mr Nightmare quality level shee-ii’…) , in my opinion- at least so far. But he won’t do paranormal and he had the absolute best paranormal stories of ANY channel. Too bad. If he finally got enough subs then it would AKSHUALLY be worth it, which it ain’ w his current view stats, which sux dogballz. I never get these or pizza delivery stories… though the one where the dominoes dude got there right after they murdered and robbed the Za Hut delivery boi was fkn terrifying… Cheers
Found your page a few months ago when I had gone through literally every Mr Nightmare story to date, and I have to say you’re one of my favorites 🖤
I appreciate the realistic stories on this channel. Im the guy that believes when you die the worms eat you, but I and my family had a situation we had to deal with for almost 4 months. We moved into a home that was, for lack of a better word, haunted. It started with electronic anomalies, like fans, lights, and stereos turning on by themselves. I explained it to my uncle, an elder of our Lutheran church, and he would say and repeat the whole time I would describe the occurrences, “Oh come on”. He became a believer. An incident happened where we were both present and he accused me of “pulling strings”. I reminded hm we are standing 2 feet apart with mugs of beer and I haven’t moved. It wasn’t like the movies. It was most active when we had company regardless if it was day or night. My wife and young son met me at the back door one summer evening when I came home from work, my wife saying she wanted to move. Both she and my 4 year old son said they heard a baby crying throughout the house, this room they enter, then it starts in another room they enter, etc. That was the last straw for me. I ended up taking care of it and we’ve not had another incident in 18 years.
Loving these stories about how scary mother nature can be. I used to love the winter, but as I've gotten older I'm over it and don't want to deal with the snow and extreme cold anymore.

Couple of these were hilarious non events, channel going ferries in the US are literally built for that shit and MUCH worse. We used to sit in the bows as kids when the sea was coming over the sides and people were puking, it’s better than a roller coaster. You were not “inches” from drowning and the glass breaking, fffs. Good times.

Thank you for another lovely sleep story!
One of the things no one can really feel anymore. The crisp of the morning newspaper. The phone book new pages smell. Not gonna lie, my mom thought she was a strong independent woman capable of making good choices and this was at the end of my parents marriage that mom was trying to prove her value to dad but she failed miserable. She signed up for delivering phone books and before she knew it she took more then she could handle and all of us my three sisters, my sisters bf and his sister, my dad and mom all of us pitched in day in and day out delivering these god damn phone books up and down the houses all over the city. Mom had gotten the money already and blew it, we helped her out because we were still a family. A bit fun I got to drive the truck and my sisters car. I was 14 unlicensed then, my dad said break and my sister almost flew off the truck. Luckily it was two days of effort and that was that. Never again had we ever done that again. Those phone books piled up weighed so much weight.
Thank u lol needed this
This is fantastic!! Cheers
The driving in the snow story: . I live in Washington state when it snows you do not drive forty five miles an hour! Whoever the stepfather was , was an idiot, and should not have allowed that young person to drive at least at those speeds in those conditions!

Thank you so much for the stories bro 😁 have a great weekend God bless
Some of these were a little overdramatic. The ice can be scary when driving, but losing traction happens twice a week in the winter if you're in the northern US or canada. Also the story with the 40 ft snowbanks, I don't buy that for a second.
A drive in the snow....truly chiling 😂
I don't believe in ghosts or anything paranormal...but the stories of mimics freak me tf out!!! Idk what it is, but the idea of something that impersonates someone you know or even yourself is absolutely horrifying. I'm very glad they're just a horror concept and not real entities!

Enjoy your stories and narrative. The rain sounds are not audible enough. Thanks😊
Harsh maybe. I’m lucky to not have experienced this stuff but the first story. PTSD? Really? From hearing 3 gunshots? 13 years old or not, I think that’s a stretch. If the guy had aimed the gun at him or shot at him maybe. Also, story 5 no snow tyres guy. Killing the entire family if you would have collided? How fast was he going in snow? 100? It was technically possible I suppose but very unlikely. People do like to exaggerate it seems.

I think an important factor in the gunshot story is that the boy felt like being at the scene at the time it happened. Also, we cannot compare trauma or assume how any situation might affect someone else, but that's of course easier said than done. Greetings from Germany 😊

Rain sounds in winter? Ruins the imagination
👍
1st story: I'm pretty disgusted by the parents telling him to stay inside! The parents should have went to the cops, then the cops could have went to the kid. Just giving police the time of the shooting, which is all he knew, plus the sound and number of the shots, could greatly help the investigation.
Nothing disturbing or "horror" like about these particular stories in my humble opinion. However, I like your other videos.
No experience driving yet capable of driving in the snow🤔
Love the stories but I do miss the commentary at the end of each video giving us updates and talking to us.
Guys are great with their war stories huh girls. Glad that dude made it to his bachelor party I don’t think I would have went thru a near death experience for it tho? Wonder if he remembers it after almost dying. Sorry dude❤
Yay! Iowa winters suck😐
Half of these stories should be called " memoirs of an idiot"
A man came to his dads super early am with a bf? Bs You can’t see to drive in the snow but are hauling ass doing 45? You spin out and the car stops but instead of parent taking over they leave a dumb kid driving AFTER he almost wrecked? Bs These channels pull creative writing stories from Reddit
"the humiliation of almost [deep sixing] a stranger..."...not sure "humiliation" is the right word.
1st story, honor killing is outright disgusting. No matter the parameters. Period .

Not scary at all and sick of the damn gay stories
The story about the paperboy that heard the gunshots that ended up being a father killing his son, the boyfriend, and then b himself - when he said that it had affected everyone but none so much as himself - a bit narcissistic - I'm sure the families of those involved were impacted more than him. Great stories, haven't heard any of them before,n. 💯🤍👍🏼
