Hey there, this is a question about order of draw and collecting samples. In a case where the phlebotomist drew a gold and then a lavender but still needed one more gold tube, is it acceptable to use a red top to clear out the additives of the lavender? Or does the patient have to get redrawn?

with the straight needle how do you know if you have flash back? could the needle move out of where you want it from switching hands?
