As a Deep Purple fan from an tender age of 14 in 1972 my hats are off to STARY OLSA for a fantastic cover!
Wanted to see them in Uppsala summer of 1258, but I couldn't find a spot to moor my longboat. Damn !

I agree. I have a penchant for women with large noses (they remind me of my late wife), and this woman, with her nice long dark hair and those eyes, is a beauty.

Child in time is one of my favorite song, I was very curious to hear this. I am more than surprised. This medieval version sounds fantastic. The band did a great job. It is faithful to the original but has its own spirit. I love it.

The "slow ballad by hard rock/ heavy metal band" genre includes some fantastic songs.
Somehow it's totally new, yet every sound shows so much respect for the original.
Great medieval cover version, Deep Purple would be proud.

But since I’ve already learned English, German, French, Italian and Swedish I think my head would be too crammed with all those new words for me to put in a completely new, Russian vocabulary as well. When you’re over fifty your brain cells tend to shrink or disappear 😃 But I think we both agree that this band from Belarus are fantastic?

@@annemariehoutenbos212 Most of these languages belong to the romance group. There is absolutely no merit in learning them if your native language is part of this group or close to it. Although in my opinion to read fashion magazines it would be enough to know just one of them.
Being a drummer since the mud 70's , the percussion is literally phenomenal

@@robertruck5501 I’ve seen Deep Purple twice. First in 1973 and second time in 2017. Quite a different band but Paice was in both concerts. Yeah, age gets the best of us eventually but kudos to him for doing a decent job as a “senior citizen”.
Not every song sounds so great with this style but Child in time really fits the Set! Good job!

Я как музыкант скажу... ПОТРЯСАЮЩЕ!!! Я не слышал в моей родной Украине подобного... Очень оригинально, ново... И мне думается, что, судя по некоторым ноткам, у вокалиста нашелся бы диапазон голоса для исполнения припева в этой легендарной композиции! Но, видимо, так было задумано... Девочка с флейтой - ФЕЯ!!! Парни - КРАСАВЫ!!! Браво, братья!!!

Вы правы и насчет музыки, и насчет мастеров исполнителей, но не подметили главного - музыка Ричи несет в себе дух средневековости, и именно поэтому эта песня органична в исполнении этих мастеров!

@@sipofanuilh8305 Блэкмор вообще сам мало что придумал, но, как хороший ученик, превосходно использовал чужие придумки. И не только риффы, но и мелодии - у него есть даже песни на мелодии из сборника кантиг Альфонса X Мудрого, XII век, и до русской народной "Виновата ли я"! Но разве это плохо? Да и аранжировки у него всегда превосходные, четкие и ясные.
Классное исполнение,лютня,флейта,волынка....гусли)Это супер!!!
Всем добра и Мира. Композиции 50 лет, а мурашки бегут по рукам. Шикарно.
Да, очень по-своему, но очень достойно, а музыка перенесла куда-то в древние времена, КЛАСС!!!👍👍👍

This just works! I'm blown away 🤯
I have listened to this a dozen times... I am a child of the eighties and love the soft metal of that era. This ranks with some fo the best. The vocal is clear and easy to listen to. The power fo the backing is unbelievable. Put on the headphones and wind them up to 11. They can macth the purple every time.... Wiat for the ricochet... amazing. Power and clarity.
Wow. This is a hard cover to do. Damm, these guys nailed it! Wow!

Welp the first guns came to Europe in the 1320s the medieval age lasted till 1500s so that's give or take a few 200 years in which bullets could have been flying

MrTubularBalls by definition anything accelerated through a barrel regardless of shape could be considered a bullet. Sometime it’s not even necessary to be accelerated through a barrel as the projectiles of the Roman slingers are also called “bullets”
