Amazing car!
This is going to be an awesome detail of 1970 classic Chevelle. All the best guys. My best pre birthday present is watching the Chevelle getting restored.

The 70 Chevelle SS is probably my favorite muscle car, along with the GTO Judge.
I would use it as a Sunday driver for sure.Very Iconic car!Awesome job detailing as Always.
There just is nothing more beautiful then a red Chevelle!😍 awsome work!!👌
I would leave it as original as possible, only replacing those "must have" parts to be a daily driver. Great job as always!
Thanks for staying up late for us. It's always nice to have your videos the first thing on Friday morning. Saturday would work too. It's great to see your business grow. Here's to a great 2022.

I love this car. I would fix it up & drive it, this one was made for the road. Thank you for sharing your work, stay safe.

Fantastic job!!! I would NEVER put this baby on a track. As for repainting, that would be tempting. In the video it looks great. But, I’ve seen cars that, when up close, really show the wear. Love what you did here!!!

Thanks man
Fantastic job, looks great despite years of wear and tear. If it were mine, I would only give it what it absolutely needs to be safe and reliable. I own 3 Chevelles currently (68, 69, and a 72) so this definitely pulls on my heart strings. I wish we could have seen the engine bay and some of the under carriage. Does the owner have an IG account we can follow? I doubt that I am alone when I say that I'd love to follow the progress.
Seats are in great shape. New foam and covers. As for no tread fronts that's how the were used on the track. Great survivor! Thanks for showing. Saved my own 71 Malibu400 396/402 BB.
Awesome video, absolutely love the classics.🙏👍💯

The classics are great
I'd personally keep it as a sunday driver. If I wanted a track car I'd build one out of a stripped car that didn't have any sentimental value. As far as the rust goes, just spot-treat it and get matching paint to try and blend it in, if that is the original paint it is better to keep it.
Just the perfect look for an older car rust and all another great job guys.
Track car 100% pulling up to the track and street races with these is the biggest flex a person can do
Amazing detail my friends ❤❤
Great job detailing! It looks beautiful afterwards, slap a set of rally wheels on it and fix the interior, and otherwise leave it as is, it’s a beautiful survivor.
It's a beautiful car a great job guys I hope this youngster realizes how fortunate he really is
Thank you all done a hell of a job on a detailing really a great job looks good looks damn good
Turned out great!!
The Videos are great I was with my son and grand kids Yesterday it was the Best Thanksgiving I think I've ever had we had Dinner then took them to the movies keep up the Great work 😀 👍 🙌
It’ll have to become my daily Summer driver after being it back to life!

You guys do great work , On that 1970 SS 396 chevelle ,Sincerely Richard Dodds , So Sioux City Nebraska.
I would totally use that car as a every day vehicle. Where I am from its not uncommon to come across classics. The car came out perfect
1970 Chevelle, great show. 🙌

Great job guys nice car I have one myself I bought in 1983just recently did a frame off restoration 502 with turbo 400 373 posi 4 wheel disc brakes
Very nice Chevelle, it's in such great shape for being stored so long. Turned out great! Usually those hoosier front runners have very little tread aa they are for drag racing, they are probably just worn out, more than likely had maybe some lines in them when new and they are worn down.
Love the videos I’m working on getting my own set of products money been an issue lately but I will soon and imma post videos aswell
Super clean bro ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I would leave the original paint as it now looks nice and wouldn't run the car at the track anymore. It is a rare and desirable model of Chevelle to own. Would have been nice to see the trunk get cleaned and the engine compartment. I'm also surprised the rear bench seat wasn't taken out.
One of my dream cars, would for sure use it as a daily driver though
Super job Awesome 100
I’d have the upholstery redone and fix that little rust and have the paint matched and blended. That’s all
Hope your thanksgiving was great bud!! Love this car! I’d not paint it at all! It would be better to do the rust spots and match them in! That solid red paint will be easy to match!!! The rest of the paint looks great!! Another great video and transformation of a long stored car!! Love it!

Highly encourage him to leave the original paint as is! It will never be original paint again, he can always repaint if totally necessary but original paint just in value is a tremendous plus!

Would totally keep original, repair the rust spots. Beautiful jobs you guys did, I’m a weekend wannabe detailer for myself. ;) Btw I’ve driven by the Hoosier tire plant before, living in Indy.
Great video! Would have been pretty cool if we could have got a glimpse underneath the hood for short bit .
FrontRunner tires don't really do a whole lot, hence being skinny and having almost zero tread
259k! happy thanksgiving! And I guess it used to be a car for drag racings Also for the pedals when there is the tiny lines you could use a brush to remove the rocks or pebbles

That’s a good point. I’m going to do that next time it’s in the pedals.
Definitely drive it some to keep it limbered up .. Awesome car
This is a muscle legend, a gem
Looks like a nice set of Weld Wheels on some Hoosier track slicks.
Do you use a dehumidifier and a o zone machine machine to kill the smell and get all the moisture out after your done detailing?
I think the floor needs a bit of pressure washing as well LOL good job as always, guys!

My friend's grandfather had a 1970 Chevelle Malibu convertible. He would take us for rides in it. His was light yellow.
It looked like three 70's Era Audio Cassettes were sitting on the front passenger seat for a long time, and left their imprint in the mold when removed.
Nice...👊🏻
Awesome detail guys, just to touch on the mould the same can be said when dealing with a rodent infestation one can get extremely ill from exposure,by the way id love to see WD do a collaboration with Larry at AMMO ❤
I drive my 1970 Z/28 4 speed which I purchased from the original owner in 1981 as much as possible in the spring and summer. Once the snow arrives, it sits in the garage. I’d like to have a 70 SS396 375 HP L78 4 speed along with the RPO ZL2 Cowl Induction Flapper hood. This Chevelle in the video I’d get it street ready and drive it on the street and if your into some track time then it can still go on the track as long as the 1/4 mile speed is low enough that you don’t need a roll bar and driveshaft safety loop. Those front tires are bald b/c they used to be on the rear, and when doing burnouts, you lose tread. If the paint is original the leave it, a car is only original once. Plus original paint cars are worth more.
Happy Thanksgiving all. That is a fvcking lovely detail there!

Great detail!
This vehicle is also in the PS1 game, Driver. Which is fun to use in the game when doing stunts and burnouts. But I think that's the only video game reference I've seen this car in, aside from Vin's character Dominic Toretto. Where he drives a few SS Chevelles in the fast franchise.
I would love to use it everyday, my go-to car.
A perfect way to treat a lady of our past time
Curious why you didn't pull the back seat cushion out as well?
Hermoso clasico
I'd get it on the road the way it is and fix up the interior. The paint job is fine the way it is. Awesome car
This car looks great, no way I would repaint it. Keep the original paint for sure.
Brent, you guys should do my car, seriously though I do construction so its pretty bad don't forget all those times I was cool to you at Vivo lol
Sunday driver is what I would do with it to keep it in good condition. These beauties need to be shown to be appreciated.
What pressure washer do you guys use
What a beautiful car! A true sunday driver haha I hope the owner keeps the original paint.

The owner could go to the wrecking yard and get good seats for the car. It is a great road car. thanks for showing us this car. You did a great job.
I hope you (RJ and Brent) had a great Thanksgiving. You guys do an amazing job. Each and every time you upload it's a new and exciting detail. Keep up the amazing job. Have a great weekend 😉😊💚Are they bald because they raced it?

They always do a great job!
This car doesn't need a new paint job either it just needs a good detail clay bar cleaning and polish and it looks almost brand new
My favorite car
Frame-off Restoration is the only way to go on a beauty like this
They are front runners for drag racing only ..with minimal tread on them even when new . For minimum rolling resistance.
Did you ever find the build sheet?
Are the tyres bold to give it as much grip as possible on the track
I would daily it after it was clean i had a 69 4 door chevelle before it was one of the best cars I've owned ever it rode great and was fast.
Racing slicks !!!
Cousin had a 396SS. Drove it around So.California for 3 weeks in 1969. Would not change the color. Slick tires!
All original..weekend driver...stored inside when not on the road with the gnarliest alarm system available on the garage and a grumpy timber wolf hangin out in the garage lot 😆 #HEVYCHEVY
Those tires are called skinnys and are for Drag racing. They are narrow and slick for lower resistance I am pretty sure.
Maybe tires were put in back at one time,or they are track slicks?
beautiful car dont re paint it put her back on the road turning heads awesome job guys
I would definitely repaint over having the original paint
I’d keep the original paint but obviously repair rust spots but keeping any paint work as minimal as possible then I’d give it a fresh clear coat for protection and refresh it’s shine.
What song is it that plays in 8.22?
What was used on the steering wheel
TriClean by Gtechniq was a very good choice in that situation.
Definitely a Sunday driver. I personally owned a '65. I drove it weekends and in good weather.

I would definitely keep it original, but the rust spots could be easily treated and repaired!
Dang I guessed 454ci big block. It's still a big block car at 396ci but so close.
I would repaint it
Early nice video
Tires are bald for better steering traction on the track, it allows the tire to get a full stick on a prepped track.
I'd take that car as a nice cruiser. I have an 86 Monte Carlo SS that I use as my date vehicle with my wife. We take it out every few weeks in good weather to cruise. It only has 57,000 miles.
