I drive a 3rd gen MINI cooper and it is the same high quality BMW carpets/upholstery/leather/buttons/etc. throughout and ditto on the higher quality materials holding up much better and being easier to maintain. If you want a BMW for about 1/3-1/2 less get a MINI...

I know right! You could totally tell that he saved the raised middle area full of dog hair when he was vacuuming, moved the camera to get a better angle just so we could see it better. All that camera moving must really add to his detailing time. But I'm so glad he does it!

@@CardoorAlicat Yeah, the seemingly (if you're the one doing it) constant camera placement to catch this, catch that, etc., is probably a good chunk of the time it takes to detail a car AND get what he gets on video. And that's to say nothing of the time he spends EDITING each video on top of everything else.

It would break my heart to drive my freshly detailed car home through the snow. :(

When he was cleaning the door jambs with the pressure washer, I could hear his explanation about why he does it that way and how he keeps water from getting inside. Then later, when he used his Detail Geek boarshair brush to go over the outside of the car after the foam bath, I heard his explanation about that, too. I love cleaning the BMWs at my work, recently cleaned a pretty new X5, only had 2000kms on the clock, it had actual carpet in the rear cargo area, which is a first for me, I have never seen that before on any car. Have to say it made my day and it made it so easy to clean.

that vacuuming of the carpet alone made me want to buy a bmw....😻.....and then the extracting!! ohhh

Check out his "Ultimate Detailer's Garage Tour" video. A recommendation for it should be over to the right. Scroll up and down, and you should find it. Another good one is his "A Day In the Life" video on his Geek 2 channel. I can't remember which, but in one, he shows us his central vacuum unit. That's why he only has a hose in the garage when he vacuums vehicles.
