    I work at a detailing place, we have 4 people and we finish each car in under 2-3 hours depending on how bad it is. Definitely could go faster in my opinion but when I did it solo it took me 6-8 hours

  • @usqpaleale4289

    @usqpaleale4289

    4 жыл бұрын

    Dylan Roberts it really all just depends on where you live and what all you decide to have done to your vehicle. For me I’m just starting out so I don’t charge too much but I do charge enough that my customers know I’m not just a car washer that I actually put in the effort of a full detail. For the 8 hour detail I believe it was $175 which is $25 an hour so not too bad for a day of work. However I have done 12 to 15 hour details for anywhere from $300 to $400. And I always ask if the customer wants their engine bay detailed which I charge $50 for. This past weekend I detailed 4 cars that have been very well maintained so they only need an exterior wash and vacuum and wipe down and that job was $300. So $75 per car for 6 hours of work. All in all it really just depends on what the customer wants done and what they are willing to pay. Hope this info helped or was what you were looking for. 😁👍🏻

  • @tramseyer

    This brings back memories. My Dad grew up on a farm. When his Chevy died, or maybe before, he took the old white farm pick up truck. (I was very tiny then, and barely remember the Chevy.). Dad kept it going and in decent condition for decades. Many, many happy memories. Every now and then Mom and I would surprise him at work by going over for lunch. He always ate in the truck, unless it was freezing, and then would usually go in and call Mom to see how things were going at home. We knew we'd surprise him if we waited at the truck. Plenty of room for the three of us. I'd scan the parking lot for the truck every time we went by his work. It went through everything; even had to come get me from my job after college in a snow and ice storm. I don't remember why he finally let the old girl go to her extremely well deserved rest, but she'd definitely outperformed herself. So many good memories. Love and miss you very much Dad. Thank you, old farm truck, wherever you or your pieces are. 👍 to you both ; I can't find a salute emoji.

    When I was in law school as part of a legal clinic I mediated a case where the plaintiff sued the defendant because the defendant wouldn't return a rebuilt engine. The plaintiff hired the defendant to repair the engine and they agreed upon a price of $50 plus 30 lortabs. The plaintiff paid $20 and only 10 lortabs so the defendant wouldn't give him the engine back. No joke.

  • @birdielaw2853

    @birdielaw2853

    @@ellebelle86 I dismissed the case. The basis of the agreement included an illegal act (distribution of a controlled substance) which rendered the contract void. I encouraged the plaintiff to pay the remaining money and the defendant to return the engine. If the plaintiff refused to pay, the defendant needed to execute a mechanic's lien in order to keep the property. I seriously doubt those guys were into doing things the right way. The funniest part of it all was the engine was INSIDE the defendant's home being used as a coffee table. He put a piece of plywood on top and used it as a piece of furniture. He had pictures to show the engine had not been sold or given away. I am still appalled by that case almost two decades later.
