When I decided to watch this video, I thought I would be melancholy, but to see you and your sister spending such quality time with your mom is so heart warming. What a sweet, sweet video. Laura, you and Monica were so sweet decorating for your mom. I’m sure she’s been frustrated at her lack of mobility and needing help from others. You all have been great to step up and provide the help she needs. As the mom of adult children myself, I could see your mom was just soaking up having a day to enjoy her girls and doing things you all love together as a sweet family. What a beautiful memory for all three of you!

Last November I fell and broke my right arm. My good friend and former employee, Pat, came from far away and decorated my home, inside and out for Christmas. She was a godsend. I know how your mom truly appreciates all you girls are doing. ❤

You made your mom SO happy which reminds me of my mom when she was still with me. I would make her bouquets of flowers from my garden cause she means the world to me. None of my flowers can ever compare to yours, but it always made my mom feel special and that was my goal. I have been downsizing for many years as I moved from a very large house to a medium size house to the small one I live in now as the children moved out to create their own homes. With each move, I donated more and more of my seasonal decorations so that I moved from a maximalist to closer to a minimalist. Watching your video today, I have clear memories of placing my many decorations much as you have in your mother's home. And for the first time, I am missing some of those decorations. They were so cute or so beautiful or just so autumnal. Truth be told, I had another box to donate and I have now pulled some of those things back out and put them on display. My kids will certainly get quite a chuckle out of that. I am so glad I saw this video before I took my donation box to a charity. 😃 I'm still more minimalist but for this season just a little less so. 😄 Thank you for your lovely channel.

We have a pair of humming birds that visit our garden every year (may or may not be the same ones, but we like to think they are 🤣) and my oldest daughter named them Winston and Diana ❤️ Diana is my gardening buddy ❤️❤️ Everytime I go outside, she shows up and hangs out with me. Winston is more reserved, but I do get to see him from time to time. What's funny is sometimes when their feeder needs to be changed/refilled, she will hover at our back door! 🤣

These type of videos featuring your mom with your sister and you are my favorites. I’ve been ready to decorate for Fall and this video has really inspired me to get on it! Your mom is so blessed to have you girls to enjoy laughing, creating, lunching and sipping lattes (yum!) while doing these types of projects together. I love it! I had foot surgery last Fall and I’m still recovering from it. I also used a knee scooter to get around. My advice is when physical therapy starts, keep it up. I let mine go and now I’m paying for it with pain. So, tell your mom to stick with it and don’t give up on the PT. I get such joy watching your videos. Keep it up! Happy Fall!! 🍁 🍂

Love Fall Colors, I'm going to Buy some Mum's today for my Mom to Decorate her Porch. Glad to see Monica there, Benjamin and his Grandma look like Twins. 🌻

Watching this brings to my mind what my little momma would say to me whenever I did things for her (which in the last 5-10 years of her life became more and more frequent,) from decorating for the holidays, bringing her various wreaths & fresh flowers to shopping for clothes with her to making meals for her every week, "Every woman needs a daughter." Now that she's gone and I am without a daughter... I know very much what she means.
